22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: Hi all. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: UI reminder: Remember to press Save once you're done with your orders. If you want to speed up the game, press "Ready"; the game will advance to the next phase if everyone has done so (you can also Unready yourself if you have important negotiations). |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: This first turn is all about getting supply centers (those lovely black dots on the map). Negotiate with your neighbours who gets what. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: yo |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: I say we all gang up on Persia first |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: seconded |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: Carthage: do it by the sea and not through me please |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: what |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: yeah what |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: Looks like Persia never got ready |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1: yeah but they already had their one excuse used up |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1: tbf I thought this was strictly turn based and not timed. I have misrepresented the game in my ignorance. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1: Y'all attack me instead. It will be more fun than attacking someone who isn't here. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1: Already doing that :D |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1: Anyway after this comes the build phase where you get to build more ships and armies if you've conquered more of those supply centers. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1: Conquering is based on "do I have a unit in that province" after this turn. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1: On building: You can't change the unit type, so think carefully whether you need ships or armies. If you lose a supply center, you're forced to disband an unit and that's about the only way (besides conquering more) way to change the unit mix later on. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 2: Neat |
