Examining through 1903, looks like F promised/was nice to E, but then G convinced F to build double fleets, used that to convince Russia to turn against E and then E obvious decided to say fuck you to F which gives the long term advantage to G in the F/G, because the French assault on Italy is always harder than Germany capturing the rest of scandinavia (especially without an England to cause trouble) |

| I screwed up 03 badly. You would probably have had it if you had gone Gol-TYS in S04, then block ION in autumn, and Austria can't send the fleet over to get Smyrna. | |
| Is the better continuation in A02: NTH -> HOL, BUR -> MUN with support? Ignore that that would beat your moves in this game, that's not what I'm trying to learn from this. Let's see, you as Austria would have retreated to KIE or BER or SIL, and gotten into BOH and still in TYR. So then France backfills BUR in S03, MUN heads to KIE with supports, and France is basically conceding Scandinavia? Yeah this looks really rough for France. |

| ---- I almost sent SPA to WES in S03. I have it saved for the longest time, but I needed to hedge that one bet on BUR moving. In S04, I did that because I expected APU -> ION and I didn't want to get my second fleet stuck behind TYS and ION bouncing in TUN. |

| NTH-Den always, that's always right, Bur-Mun with support and Tyrolia cut would probably indeed have been better, guaranteeing your 3-build and getting Munich. Austria going to Kiel is unpleasant but tolerable, as long as you're in Denmark with the fleet you've cut him off, and would just kick him out next year (ideally). | |
