We, Nicholas II,

Emperor and Autocor of all Russia, and others

Publish this declaration of war on Turkey.

In a hitherto unsuccessful fight with Russia, striving in all ways to multiply its strength, the Ottoman government, led by the Sultan Mehmed, involved itself in the vicious conquest of war. After claiming to desire the Black Sea as a demilitarized area, a Turkish fleet poured a huge attack on that very region. Immediately after this, we commanded to the ambassador in Tsaregrad, with all the ranks of the ambassadors and consulate, leave the offices of Turkey. With full support and hope for the power of God to relieve Russia in this new opposition, her speech of the old exponent of all Slavic peoples, we declare war. Not for the first time do the valiant Russian arms enter battle against the Turkish hordes. It will punish this vicious enemy for their incursion on the shores of the black sea. Only when, from the coast of Smyrna to the Syrian lands, the Turkish boundaries be erased, will the Russian fleets and armies be called back from a state of defense of our motherland. To the civilians of the Ottoman lands, Russian troops bring you good things, reconciliation. With an open heart, with a brotherly outstretched hand, we go to your cities with the hope of liberation.

22 Oct 20 UTC Spring, 1902: That message was a setup by Austria itself! Russia was forced into this war! DO NOT let this go unnoticed!!!
22 Oct 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Pics or it didn’t happen
23 Oct 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: From the desk of Emperor Franz Joseph I:

Dearest brothers and sisters of Europe, I write to you today on the dawn of war. The events of yesteryear have left me pensive and solemn. While the Austrian people have found great military success, I would be amiss to ignore the sacrifices made towards this cause. Dividing our Russian and Ottoman neighbors to the East and most recently, abandoning a promising alliance with the budding Italian kingdom were both regrettable, but necessary actions to further the glory of Austria. To those estranged powers, along with the rest of Europe at large, I acknowledge that my word means little now. However, I hope to impart guidance to you all applicable to future endeavors: “Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.” In these trying times, I wish you the best.

Franz
