17 Dec 20 UTC	The entire point was to play with the fire. I don’t make it to 1910 in every game, seemed like a golden opportunity to learn a few things, and sometimes we can learn the most by getting burnt. It isn’t whether you win or lose but how you play the game, I merely wanted to continue to play the game. I once heard Edi Birsan say that he would “always” accept a draw if everyone else at the table wanted to draw, since this is a gentleman’s game, which is the situation I was facing. I’ve also shared a board with my buddy Babak where he was at 17 SCs, we had formed a grand alliance to stalemate him and everyone except Babak had visibly voted draw. Babak then posted on the global tab, “This game isn’t over until I say it’s over!” Clearly I’m on Edi’s half of that spectrum.
17 Dec 20 UTC	I'm cool with either approach and definitely wouldn't have sent some pissy message after the game if you kept it going. It's your prerogative when to draw. I was legit getting nervous about you maybe pushing your luck and then Germany convoying Austria to Sweden or me doing something dumb in the south.

17 Dec 20 UTC	That’s hard to believe, you had already sent multiple pissy messages to me during the game! ;-) A 2WD was never a goal or an option, from my perspective, if it had been mentioned it was only as a punchline. My plan was to attempt to figure something out, if you wanted to know more beyond that you should have kept playing. :-P PS - Nobody’s ever called me a cockroach before, think I prefer the profanity-laced tirades, but I’m sort of on the fence about it...
