05 Sep 20 UTC My Take on this:

I came into this game thinking it was going to last 3-4 hours, and it didn't, since it was gunboat I started antagonising Russia, I didn't want to make it obvious by going into ARM, but I did nonetheless, everything went standard for the first few years,Italy and Austria were fighting so they didn't bother be in my quest for RUM and SEV, we kept doing this game until it changed in 1904, when I took Greece.

Greece was a real game changer at the time, I got an extra build against Russia, and since Austria was winning their war against Italy, I thought Austria wouldn't care about it. With the extra build I took RUM, and started to whittle down SEV, things were looking up until 1906.

By that time Italy was dead, and Austria would focus all of their attention on me, originally I could defend against Austria, but when RUM fell to the Russians, I lost a unit, and then the eastern Mediterranean, and Greece. Things got even worse when SMY fell in 1910, I took back Greece for a short period of time, and in 1914, I was down to only 2 centres, SMY and ANK.

Things did turn around when my once adversary, Russia, supported me to take back CON in 1916, now I was up to 3 centres. Russia also supported me into BUL in 1918. Austria was defeating Russia at that point in time, so we didn't interact much anymore, and I got Greece and Serbia in 1920.

I can't believe it took me until 1921 to realise that France was on the path to victory, and shortly after I turned my attention to stopping France. Russia died as I was attempting to gain naval supremacy over the western Mediterranean, tried to keep France out of Trieste, and tried to convoy army's in to Naples and Tunis, all objectives but Trieste failed.

After all my attempts, and all the time I spent fighting Austria, France won. Good game France, you played well.
05 Sep 20 UTC Sorry Austria, I didn't know France was winning until after I took your 2 centres
