09 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: The Game So Far:
Right off the bat, we have both Mexico and Peru with their sights set on Hawaii. Who will come out on top is anyone's guess right now. Texas and British-Columbia both seem to be leaving their neighbors hard pressed early on, leaving Mexico and California quite vulnerable. Heartland's western expansion could prove costly due to the aggressive moves by New York. The most peaceable players in the game thus far seem to be Quebec and Cuba, though they could have devious plans that I'm not aware of. Finally, we have our eastern wildcard, Florida, who could shake up the game big time. That's all for now, and I'll see you next time on (I haven't come up with a name yet)!
10 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Haha great status update Cali, I was hoping to glide under the radar without being noticed but I guess I have been rumbled!
10 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Your choice to build all fleets is notable too Florida!
11 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 2000: I don't like these updates!
11 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 2000: You don't have any devious plans, do you Quebec?
16 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 2002: Alright we're back with another map update!

Shots ring out in a three way naval battle for the Caribbeans, and Cuba with it. It's a bit unclear, but either Peru and Florida have reached an agreement to divide up Cuba, or both are racing to snatch those supply centers. However, don't count Cuba out yet, as they're threatening the coast of Florida, and could turn the tide (get it, because they're on the ocean?). Things are looking grim for Quebec, squeezed between the two superpowers of Heartland and New York. There's some minor border skirmishes between Mexico and Texas, but both might want to watch the seas, as Peru fills up the coastline with their ships. Finally, California and British Columbia seem to have reached some sort of agreement between them, with both groups retreating to their side of the border. The question is, are they merely at a ceasefire, or do they have some devious plan cooking up? We'll find out soon as the game progresses. And remember, with a little diplomacy, this could still be anyone's game!
18 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 2002: Diplomacy eh?

Anyone want to ally with Greenland?

What I lack in armies I make up in land mass.
18 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 2002: I will ally you! I offer you hawaii as a safe haven.
18 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 2002: Hawaii AND Greenland? Sounds a little overpowered to me
