21 Nov 20 UTC [Quebec]:Great game everyone! It really took a lot of interesting turns. I’m always impressed by players who are able to cooperate in silent games
22 Nov 20 UTC [Kenya]:Thanks Quebec, thanks NearEast and OZ!
22 Nov 20 UTC [Kenya]:Just a small joke, I assume that NearEast need to take Moroco in early time!
22 Nov 20 UTC [Near-East]:Good Game!
22 Nov 20 UTC [Near-East]:Thank you Kenya for being a trustworthy ally!
22 Nov 20 UTC [Oz]:Good game, folks - it would have been interesting to see what happened next, had we not drawn - I suspect I’d have been the next target, given I ended up in conflict with each of you at one point or another!

It’s be interesting to hear how you all approached the game, whether you had a plan going in or just took things as they came.

My priorities were:
1) Take out Antarctica. I think F.A. and Oz are natural enemies, and I couldn’t see the two of us coexisting now in a Gunboat game.

2) Rule the Pacific and Indian Oceans, and try to destroy any powers which can build into them. If I managed this, I could be reasonably sure I’d survive to the end. This was why I reacted so strongly to Quebec and then Russia trying to expand into the north of the Pacific.

Things went well against India and Pacific Russia, and I was glad to see Brazil and Quebec take over their respective continents. I had hoped to see Ghana dominate Africa - sorry Kenya! - but you defended too well, and I couldn’t shut down your fleet production soon enough, forcing me to make peace. If the conflict had restarted, you definitely had the stronger position.

I’ve enjoyed playing Oz for the second time in a row and, while I feel like it can strike in many directions, I think it also ends up very spread out and difficult to defend everywhere effectively. Effectively getting out your new builds is really hampered by geography too - I personally would change the borders to have Pacific Islands border New South Wales to make that centre less isolated.

I’d be really interested to hear your thoughts!
22 Nov 20 UTC [Quebec]:@Oz I think the downside of your ocean domination strategy is that it’s a lot of units without really gaining SCs. I was expecting you to go after Brazil rather than me bc you couldn’t really commit that many units to fighting me.
