30 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Just taking a little trip west. Hear its nice in Piedmont this time of year!
01 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
01 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): Hi guys, I've received a pause request for a couple days.
02 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): Specifically this will be unpaused on the 6th.
06 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): Unpaused. Sorry for the delay, I had thought Kestas would unpause everything in one go this morning.
08 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1905: Between the pauses and site maintenance it seems like ages have passed!
09 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1905: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
09 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1905: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): Interesting. When multiple people don't enter orders, it only takes away one excused missed turn.

I know there have been many delays this past week, but please do try to enter orders in a timely manner.
09 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1905: Im readying up.
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: I swear I thought my order said Bur-Mar. FML.
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Ouch. That hurts France.

GG turkey.
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Thanks,! It seems it wasn't a successful one. :) But I wish you all good luck and I hope you will enjoy this game.
16 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1906: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
19 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
20 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: France, Italy, Germany, England - time to put our fighting on hold and stop the solo?
20 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: My draw vote is in. I'm 100% committed to not thinning the draw if everyone helps get it.
20 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: Dear friends,

I know most of you are going to read my message with deep suspicions given my strategic position, the valor of my army, the strength of my alliances and my uncanny capacity to perform well-timed backstabs. You all have suffer under my iron fist. I am truly sorry for you.

However, I am willing to let bygones be bygones and I will vote draw too with Russia. I also extend my benevolence to all players, even the most marginal ones. In my infinite (and I stress infinite) Wisdow (capital W) I will not humiliate anybody by naming the barely hanging on players.

Please you would be well-advised to grab this one in a lifetime opportunity to say with pride: I drew with the Magificent Emperor of Denmark formely known as the Grand King of England (please note, the weather is more clement in Copenhague).

Feel free to show your gratitude despite my infinite (again!) Humility (capital H).

Thank you for your attention my most dear friends.
20 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm in on the solo-prevention plan. Drawing with the Magnificent Emperor of Denmark formerly known as the Grand King of England would be an honor!
22 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: i am honored to be confronted by a 5 part consortium this early in the game - can I suggest to you all that, in order to speed your communications, you refer to your consortium as GRIEF?
23 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: LOL
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Honestly, we don't get points for reducing a draw down, so at this point taking out Denmark is a dick move.
25 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: I still can’t believe the Kaiser abandoned GRIEF. I guess the remaining members of the alliance will have to live up to our new acronym, FIRE, and rain it down on AG ;-)~

Lol
28 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Austria, what happened?
28 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Seems like Austria entered preliminary orders and never finished updating them :-( Hope everything is ok . . .
28 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Yep - apologies to all - IRL getting in the way too much :-(
I've put in a draw vote as don't believe that I can now solo, and I'm not going to be able to devote much time to the site for the time being
28 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: As I said in my press with you, I will happily add my draw vote when you no longer have the top board.
28 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: I'll support RUH - KIE from MUN - hopefully you'll get a survive
28 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Thanks, appreciated. Ruhr-Kiel entered.
28 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: How is Russia able to enter an order of Ruhr to Kiel when Ruhr is a German unit?
28 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Is anyone else concerned about why "Russia" needs Munich supporting Ruhr-Kiel to get a survive?
28 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Also why does Austria not find this request unusual?
28 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: I'm joshing with Austria who presumably posted a private message to public by accident.
28 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: "France"
28 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Lol, Diplomacy makes me paranoid haha
29 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: You tell me!
30 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: GG, well played Austria. You really fucked up, France.
02 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: sorry all... I've had a hell of a week, including a trip to the emergency room. I should be back to normal now, and I should be doing press tomorrow. Sorry everyone.
02 Aug 20 UTC Spring, 1909: Where is A Brest?? Wtf I swore I entered that in
06 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: In case anyone was curious, I had an admin double check my builds: no game errors found so must have been either a mis-order on my part or I forgot to save the build in Brest before changing screens ugh. I definitely screwed up at the worst possible time :-(
14 Aug 20 UTC Spring, 1911: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
22 Aug 20 UTC Moderator: (goldfinger0303): Pausing till Monday
23 Aug 20 UTC Moderator: (goldfinger0303): I didn't draw this, right? Just making sure I didn't hit a button when I paused it.

Un-gunboated so y'all can say gg
23 Aug 20 UTC gg
23 Aug 20 UTC Well, His Excellency the Grand Emperor of Sweden formely known as the Emperor of Denmark or King of England would like to say a bit more than gg.

You have every right to be pleased as you can say with pride that you have drawn with His Excellency. Not an easy task, espcially for France and Austria. You have proved yourselves worthy.

Well some of you have not been able to make it as my very much loved Germanic cousin. But dear cousin, if you study the moves of His Excellency, carefully, and with humility you can learn and improve. I have every confidence in you! Please do not give up.

In the end, I would like to thanks Russia. England - Russia relations are always tense, too bad Russia and His Excellency could not find the right tempo at the beginning of the game. Together dear fellow Emperor we could have ruled Europe!

Perhaps another time.

This game was a real pleasure. Thanks again and as the italians say gg.
23 Aug 20 UTC Moderator: (goldfinger0303): I was surprised that with kissemo and Yonni being next to each other they basically got rolled by A/I in the beginning. One of the only tournament games kissemo has not topped the board.
23 Aug 20 UTC great fun - thanks to all!
23 Aug 20 UTC Congratulation allanxo for the topboard! Nice win! I've thought Italy or France will win here after the beginning phase.
It was a short game for me, but I've enjoyed. I didn't really believe in the alliance with Russia-Yonni after his communication, so I've tried to break between the alliece between Austria and Italy, but I've failed. I wasn't sad, I've had enough luck in other tournament games.
I think we both felt with Yonni we can risk for the solo-opportunity, but it was a bad way for both of us.
@Gold: Thanks a lot for organizing this tournament, I'm already waiting for the next one. :)
24 Aug 20 UTC Gg all
25 Aug 20 UTC GG. Too bad we couldn't get on the same page kissemo. I was probably a little more aggressive in my press than I normally would've been considering the tournament.

Great job sticking around England and we'll done Austria with the top board. France almost had it but managed to toss it away at the last second.
26 Aug 20 UTC I wasn't going to get it unfortunately . . . I think I realized that awhile ago but was grasping at straws trying to eek out a win. Once I got stymied in the south I pretty much realized I was at an impasse. I might have eventually been able to take Norway/Denmark/Kiel/Sweden and possibly Berlin and/or St Petes, but I"m pretty sure Austria could have blocked from getting the final 18th SC. Since I was stuck in the south it would have had to have been Munich, Warsaw, or Moscow, which would be very hard for me to succeed at taking.

I could probably have taken one this coming turn in the north, but it would have depended on guessing correctly whether Russia would throw Baltic to defending Denmark or Kiel as my 3 unit target, while also risking Russia taking Edi, or worse: convoying Norway to Edi! My line in the south was also entirely dependent on Italy not hitting Tuscany with Rome or supporting Ven-Tus.

Oh well, it was a good game regardless. I'm glad I had the privilege of surviving a game against the Emperor of Sweden/Denmark/England ;-)
