27 May 20 UTC Good game.

27 May 20 UTC Good game.
27 May 20 UTC Good game. I was really hoping that I could steal part of the draw there.
27 May 20 UTC I'm very surprised that Russia was able to pull away with the solo. To me, it seemed like there were a lot of chance to stop them and no one took them
27 May 20 UTC Though maybe I started it when I took Serbia from Turkey.
27 May 20 UTC Turkey, why didn't you move when Russia built the two north units? It appeared clear for the solo. I was toast at that point.
27 May 20 UTC Serbia was the lynch pin. We had such a good relationship til then Austria. Why?
27 May 20 UTC Also England, why did you support Germany to Bur from Ruhr? Was that an misentry? I supported you because you had bounced them there the previous turn. If you had done that, you probably wouldn't have lost Belgium.
27 May 20 UTC Yeah, Serbia was probably a mistake. I should have gone after Russia there
27 May 20 UTC I felt like Russia was going to be stuck fighting in the north for a while, and since you had just stabilized Italy, I thought you were going to stab them
27 May 20 UTC I probably should have just retreated instead of taking Serbia at that point though
27 May 20 UTC More like “England, why?”
27 May 20 UTC It was obvious if you attacked me and not russia what would happen
27 May 20 UTC Auatria - attacking me when turkey and Russia were at your throats??? I was trying to help stop them and you and England attacked me
27 May 20 UTC Dunno why turkey didn’t fight russia earlier though. Made it really tough for me to ever fight off the west
27 May 20 UTC Yeah. I'm sorry if taking Marseilles is what ended up giving Russia the win. In my head at the time, it was pretty clear I didn't have a chance at holding onto my home centers, so the only way I was going to have a chance at winning was to take Marseilles and hope that it ended up in the stalemate line. I probably should have just tried to hold onto Venice, but I didn't think that Turkey would help me there.
27 May 20 UTC I'm looking back, and I shouldn't have even moved to Piedmont in the first place. That was probably pretty bad.
27 May 20 UTC I thought your 1909 moves were really good. Taking Serbia and getting to Tyrolia. I thought at that point it was clear one of you, Russia, and Turkey had to go, and you were poised to make sure it wasn't you until you came to Piedmont for some reason.

It also meant I couldn't defend against Russia and England and had to make the decision to throw to the southe/eastern to make sure I either survived to draw or made sure someone other than England won
27 May 20 UTC Thanks for the comments (I'm still new at this so any comments help). I definitely felt that one of us had to go. In my head, moving to Piedmont was a sign of good will towards Turkey. I was hoping they'd help me fight back against Russia. However, in retrospect, it wasn't a good way to get on Turkey's side and it left me more open to getting attacked my Russia.
27 May 20 UTC You played well. FWIW, Italy seemed rather poor. Generally you don't want to attack both Germany and Austria in 1901. But you came back from a tough position in 1902-1903, though I think I would have spent 1907-1910 or so by attacking Russia, at least
27 May 20 UTC Thanks! I'm pretty happy at how I was able to hang in there for so long. However, I do agree that I really could have done better in the middle years.
27 May 20 UTC Yes France, your hit on Norway later on was your swan song. That did it for Russia over the top. I had draw selected when Turk, Russia, and I were all 10/10/9. That one last hit gave the north. Well done :)
27 May 20 UTC France, your comments on me hitting Russia versus you are fair. I got you because you were larger, but I should have factored in a stab later by Russia. Fair call-out.
27 May 20 UTC I thought we had some camaraderie going from taking out Germany together, too. Looked like the game would be an easy 3WD with you, me, Turkey or Austria, but it happens
27 May 20 UTC Yeah, I could not figure out Germany for the life of me. We had quite the stalemate going on my island. Well played on your end...came back from the brink
27 May 20 UTC Yes, I was surprised how well that worked out. Germany severely outguessed me early on.
