27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: > I'd like to register a formal complaint that the Isle of Wight isn't on the map.

Tap the icon under the map in the middle that expands to a bigger version of the map and prepare to be thrilled.
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: It adds the Isle of Man and the Faroe Islands too.
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: *thrilled face!*
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: I thought that map was just higher resolution, I didn't realise it had more detail.
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: And all the other little islands are coloured the correct colours.
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: If you’re willing to accept that the Isle of Wight is in Wales ;-)
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Good point. Wales is a disproportionately large territory. The West Country would probably argue for half of it. And the Isle of Wight should probably belong to London and the South East.
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Also not sure if the Welsh have ever been noted for their seafaring prowess.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Gl to all who remain
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Thanks, England. Good game! See you out there again, I hope.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Thanks England, good game, unlucky.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: I was wishy-washy, which is a recipe for disaster.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Will be interesting to see if anyone else gets knocked out.
30 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: Apologies for the slow phase from me there.
30 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: No problem on my end.
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Germany going for the solo
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Oh wait nevermind. All planned bounces
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Lol you had that ready to go
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: I'm actually the one going for the solo.
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: You’ll need Spain and Portugal to hit 11, which I’m happy to help you with. Brest and Paris for 13 would make me less happy. But if you and Russia ground me down a bit, and Russia diverted enough units my way, you might snag Bud, Bul, Con, Smy, and Ank for the win.

Your sales pitch to Russia should be, “Let’s eliminate that rat fink Germany — look what he did to you over Austria and then Scandinavia — and go for a two way draw. And really, why wouldn’t you try it, if either of us has a good chance to come out of it with a solo, it’s you up there in Moscow!”
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: What, little old me sitting in my corner, who hasn't made an aggressive move towards anyone for two years?
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: I didn’t say you’d agree to the pitch.
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: I'm actually going for the solo too.
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: All very good points
03 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: You can see my demise coming. Give me brownie points and let's draw now
03 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Yeah, Germany and Italy you big bullies, stop being so mean.
03 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: So you're going to hit draw to start the process Russia?
03 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Er...
03 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: So you're a mean pirate now?
03 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Or wait is that usually arg?
03 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: https://youtu.be/pOlKRMXvTiA
03 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Why are pirates?

They just arrrr.
03 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Existentialist puns, now...
03 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: You've seen the title of the game?

Disappointingly few puns (so far) though.
04 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Very true about the lack of puns
04 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: How did that hap-pun? Very disa-pun-ting.

I’ll see myself out.
04 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Thank you, so you're conceding your country and SC's to me?
04 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Yep!
04 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: I saw a competition in the local paper to find the best play on words. So I submitted ten entries, sure one would win, but unfortunately no pun in ten did.
04 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Sweet, I'm winning for once.

And damn Russia, that's unfortunate
08 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: I’ve finalized my build. Will vote the draw once this round processes.
08 Jun 20 UTC Good game, all!
08 Jun 20 UTC Thanks everyone, good game, really enjoyed it - in a masochistic kind of way, since I was being hammered by Germany over one thing or another for pretty much the entire game.
08 Jun 20 UTC I was such a jerk this game, I’m sorry.
09 Jun 20 UTC I was being lied to so knew that I was in tough. Of course, getting stuck with Austria was not fun. Recall why I hate that country. Congrats guys.
09 Jun 20 UTC Being lied to? In Diplomacy? Disgraceful!

Which scoundrel did that?

I suspect Germany.
09 Jun 20 UTC (But yeah, Austria is a tough gig...)
09 Jun 20 UTC I’m Russia’s most natural suspect, but I genuinely did as much as I could to keep Russia and Italy from attacking Austria. A quick exit for Austria usually means Germany is next on the chopping block. I didn’t get a lot of communication or ideas or collaboration back this time around, though.
09 Jun 20 UTC (Nothing personal, Austria!)
09 Jun 20 UTC Hey. I expect to be lied to. Nature of the game.
