30 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1: Wow. There's so much more space! |
30 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1: Yes this looks very different |
30 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1: Oh, it will get crowded soon enough! |
01 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 1: Jaw jaw is better than war war, but I feel the time for talking is rapidly coming to a close for some. |
01 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 1: Does anyone know whether the equivalent of Relate is available to national leaders? I think I need to attend with Persia. Things are going downhill fast! |
01 May 20 UTC | Spring, 2: My Dear fellow Leader, If you had any doubt about the trustworthiness of some, see below for a direct quote from Persia made just before our last moves were made. To put in context, I continually stated that I would want Jer as it would enable both of us to get 3 builds (in A01 for him). He initially stated that he wanted Jer as well, which appeared to me to be an unequal distribution of wealth. Despite my many and impassioned arguements for him to reconsider he never really convinced me that he was agreeable to the proposal. Anyway in desperation and fear of being marginalised and despised throughout the region, he sent me this very clear and concise statement. I leave you to be the judge of his ability to ever be someone in whom you would trust. Integrity is everything and he has hit the gutter with words followed by actions that I would not expect of my dog. The quote “I’ve told you, Jerusalem is not a target.” As such I may well be short for this world, will go down fighting and am happy to ally with any nation that ensures the complete and utter annihilation of Persia. Happy to engage further, should you require clarification! |
01 May 20 UTC | Spring, 2: Technically, Persia never provided any false information. If you look it up on Wikipedia, it says: "Jerusalem is a city in the Middle East". Read the fine print! |
01 May 20 UTC | Spring, 2: Obv being advised by a Jedi master. However it’s not how I conduct international relations. He knows that what he did was in direct contrast to the messages being given. It not about fine print it’s about intent and his was to stuff me over. Good luck all. |
01 May 20 UTC | Spring, 2: The positioning of your forces did not leave me to believe that you were being truthful. |
01 May 20 UTC | Spring, 2: Weak and cowardly and no less than I would expect from a blind, three-legged Dog with no bark. |
01 May 20 UTC | Spring, 2: Woof. |
01 May 20 UTC | Spring, 2: Oh dear, this game is already going to the dogs. |
01 May 20 UTC | Spring, 2: Love it! Walkies. |
03 May 20 UTC | Spring, 3: There are no more un-held supply centers. I guess this means (more) war. |
04 May 20 UTC | Spring, 3: 2 hours to go... |
05 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 3: What happens on a missed turn? Is it as though the units hold or does the timer reset? |
05 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 3: Timer resets |
05 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 3: Sorry guys I'd thought I'd done it |
05 May 20 UTC | Spring, 4: The timer resets as long as you have an excused delay. If you miss two turns with no excused delay available, your country will enter a state of civil disorder and you are ejected from the game. This particular game is set up for two excused delays for each player. |
06 May 20 UTC | Spring, 4: I understand that I am alone, regardless. Rome is too far away to help, and I don't think I can defend my position for more than a turn or two. |
