03 May 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Howdy everyone, good luck and let the best state (in both senses of the word) win |
06 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2000: Whoever hasn't issued orders yet, please do not! |
06 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2000: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
06 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2000: TY! |
10 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2001: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
17 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2003: Could've sworn I set myself to bounce myself in Bermuda. Alas... |
21 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2004: Since Texas is being a coward and muting me, I guess I have to use the global chat. I'm guessing you were just playing me the whole time because you've managed to convince literally everyone around me to stab me, despite me thinking I had pretty decent relationships with them. Hats off to you, really. For what it's worth, I was genuine from the start in trying to work with you, but you just kept jerking me around back and forth and couldn't commit to anything. I sincerely hope that your new friends turn on you as quickly as they turned on me because from the start of the game your requests were unreasonable and I was nothing but accommodating because Mexico is so hard to play successfully in this variant. But I don't really blame BC and Venezuela, I guess, since I was clearly in an exploitable position and I banked on Texas being too hard to work with for anyone else. Maybe that will be true still, but it won't help me stay alive. |
21 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2004: And also, muting someone in this game is really sucky. If you're getting harassed or something I get it, but you get stabbed and you mute the guy? That's not going to work well for you most of the time. I'm pretty shocked it did this time. |
21 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2004: dont cry |
24 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2005: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
24 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2005: Oh shoot, sorry y'all. |
27 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2006: I've just sent pretty much the same final outcome press to 3 players. Hoping we can share the love a bit at the end here boys. |
28 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2006: Ok so I survived one nasty stab by Mexico. But now, under cover of bold faced lies, I've been stabbed again by professed allies. Looks like another diplo game where dirt bags will prosper. |
28 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2006: That's how the game works bro. Realpolitik and all that jazz |
28 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2006: Ideology has no place, only what is most advantageous |
28 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2006: Well, Realpolitik and the pursuit of greater is ideology, so I suppose ideology has its place, but the ideology is Realpolitik. |
28 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2006: oops, "the pursuit of greater power" |
28 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2006: It's the reverse Alamo! I will hold out against the horrible Texans hoping against hope that aid will come. I know it won't, but my last stand will be glorious and will go down in memory for generations to come! |
28 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2006: Remember the Alamo! Yeehaw!!! |
31 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 2007: Gg Mexico Lessons learned from autumn 02. Dem horrible texans |
