11 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1: Welcome to the game, everyone. We can always move earlier if everyone gets orders in ahead of time, but the long deadlines are designed to let people do other things if need be.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to message me.
14 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1: Just a quick heads-up that if we happen to have a late player (at any stage, this one or otherwise), that will "un-ready" everyone's orders.
16 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1: A very interesting first year, I think we can all agree.

While three powers have doubled in size, two have not. Conflict will doubtless be the order of the day as AD 2 begins, but the question will be who will crack first.
21 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 2: Egypt wishes to register its extreme displeasure with Carthaginian movements in the recent campaign season.

The Egyptian foreign office had communicated with Carthage proposing that Phazania be seen as "neutral and inviolate territory". As recent troop movements demonstrate, Carthage has entered Phazania.

While it is not typically Egyptian policy to disclose private communication with other powers in this regard, the flagrant disregard by Carthage for such an agreement, tentative though it may have been, cannot go unremarked or unpunished.
04 May 20 UTC Autumn, 3: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
05 May 20 UTC Autumn, 3: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
05 May 20 UTC Autumn, 3: As I understand it, Carthage will be kicked out of the game if he doesn't submit orders by the deadline.

To that end, it's worthwhile asking what we should do with the game if that happens. Obviously, I can understand that those who are on top of their neighbours might like to keep it going, but it does rather change the dynamics if Rarry and I are able to monster a nonexistent Carthage and only have two other powers to fight with, neither of whom have the advantage.

Let me know what you think.
06 May 20 UTC Autumn, 3: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
03 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 6: Can I make the suggestion that everyone with retreats, builds, and the like submit them as "Ready" when they've worked them out?

The game is drawing towards its inevitable conclusion, and I'm not sure anyone really wants it to go longer than it needs to.
08 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 7: Against the mighty Roman army there is no fight. Greece will disband the army and join the Roman empire.
08 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 7: As Eddie Izzard would remind us, the Romans will now borrow the Greek gods.

Rarry and Dorothy, if you've never heard of Eddie Izzard, you're due for some amusement one day.
12 Jun 20 UTC Good game everyone
12 Jun 20 UTC Very much so. I had my work cut out for me to "unpick" Persia when I did, and a few unlucky orders on my part could have changed the outcome there.
