03 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Welcome. Ok, some basics:

There are 16 centers that are generally "Austrias": The 3 Austrian centers, the 4 Balkans, the 3 Turkish centers, the 3 southern Russian centers (not St. P), the 3 Italian centers.

Likewise, there are 14 centers that are "Frances": The 3 French centers, the 2 Iberian centers, the 3 English centers, Bel/Hol/Kiel, and the 3 scandinavian centers.

It is possible that France grabs Venice, or Warsaw, or Naples, or that Austria grabs Norway. But these are general guidelines.

This leaves 4 centers to fight over: St. P, Berlin, Munich, Tunis.

Tunis is easy for either party to "lock up". It takes a few units, and we can go over details or you can work it out, but that's possible.

St. Pete it is only possible for France to lock up, but Austria can take it and stall for a LONG time.

Berlin and Munich are interesting. Austria can lock them both up together, but it takes a long time to do. But it'll take France a very long time to break through.

With that in mind, Austria generally has to sprint to a win, and is at disadvantage if the game drags. Austria's goal is to get and hold 2 of those 4 key centers for long enough to sprint through backfilling the Turkish and Balkan centers.

France's goal is to get 3 of the centers (ideally including Tunis), because if France has Tunis and 2 others, the 4th will eventually have to fall to them.

So that's the game. Austria generally has more units and is sprinting to a finish and holding the line as long as they can. France is trying to keep Austria from finishing.

I generally think that Austria has the advantage, but either country can win.
03 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I hope the interface is intuitive enough. Let me know if you have any questions.

If we both toggle "ready" then the game moves faster.
03 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: That's a solid opening, very nicely figured out.
03 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm going to enter my orders and leave them fixed. So if you have any questions, just let me know and it won't affect what I do.
