Interstellar game all!
Interesting* lol... dumb auto correct
Great game. Especially the way Italy was able to continue to grow despite getting shut down on two different fronts
Nice one all, fun times!
Good fall to you all. | |
Shut down? No. I gave Russia all of turkey intentionally, so he could fight England. With no Russian South Navy, a dead turkey, and no Austrian fleets. I had total victory on my East. My eastern garrison requirements were zero.
@Italy - I figured you were doing that based on the fleet moves. I knew I would need to shore up something to help prevent a solo attempt. Austria had me worried at the end though...
@Russia - yeh, I decided to back off at the end for the greater good ... I wasn't in much of a position to help otherwise
If Austria went for Russia, I would have assaulted in force, my last move was a warning shot.
Hm...interesting, Italy. That makes sense. I will remember that, thanks for explaining.
Well when he moved to Ukraine looked like he wanted to take sevastopol and I moved to Trieste to make sure it wasn't open for a fleet build
I was really just trying to block Ukraine to protect Rum, but then decided to move back out as a show of solidarity, but then the game ended
I was going to start pushing into St. Petersburg and hoped you would pressure Italy if he would continue holding out.
how was anyone ever going to "pressure Italy"? No one had any fleets in the med. Piedmont can support hold Venice forever...
Not saying it was going to be much success, just stating I was hoping he would shift west to help out and get a draw. I was definitely in no position to go for victory
Good game all of you. |
