01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1906: Destroyed by a cunning diplomat and a neighing donkey.
01 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: i love you, turkey
01 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: meh, anticlimactic I must say.
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Dear Germany,
I know the webdip interface encourages you to build armies by making that the first visible choice on the dropdown menu, but if you click down, you'll find you can build a fleet instead.
Love,
Your faithful ally.
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1907: smooth
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1907: ope
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Salute to France
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1908: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1908: wooow to much talking from Germany it seems. and a decent position was lost.
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1908: I've set my flag to draw. In a game where EG are allied all game, and E and R are allied, with Italy doing so well and at a large size and with an easy stalemate line for us to all form, I don't see any significant developments, mainly squabbling over a few centres, e.g. Italy will pick up Ankara from Russia etc.
Since it's a live game, I don't feel it's worth playing it out and encourage you to also set your draw flags to yes.
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1908: no man this is a solo game for a while now
01 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: ur mom is a solo game lmaoooo
01 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: gtfo Russia, don't insult people's mothers you obnoxious twat.
01 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Guys can we ready rather then just save, it wastes time
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1909: 1: @ turkey (please don't insult other payers mothers unless you are being creative about it (in which case I find it hilarious))
2: @ Russia (please respect the fact that I am trying to negotiate with multiple players to draw and that may take a while)
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1909: I understand
01 Mar 20 UTC gg Italy
01 Mar 20 UTC be a good boy and listen to your master Russki

Anyway, we should stop this amusing battle of words.
01 Mar 20 UTC yes my mom doesn't do that thank you.
01 Mar 20 UTC a very well negotiated draw Italy
01 Mar 20 UTC wasn't sposed to take warsaw or moscow :(
01 Mar 20 UTC ahahhahhahahhhahhahahahhahahahahhhahahhahahahhaha
01 Mar 20 UTC What a win, italy
01 Mar 20 UTC come oooon
01 Mar 20 UTC very well done Italy.
01 Mar 20 UTC but you were not supposed to take moscow and warsaw ccc
01 Mar 20 UTC This was my first online live game. A couple of times I made it into time trouble and didn't communicate as much as I wanted to, or put in suboptimal moves. I'd much rather move to 7 min for major phases and 3 min for minor phases and I hope webdip soon changes so they can allow that.
For me the game was dominated by E's diplomatic control over G, which I felt I had no way to break. I didn't see any tactical way to attack G, since E wasn't helping. and I had no interest in playing an EFG for the hope I may get TUN, so I went after E. I was backing on having full Russian support in this endeavour, and when this didn't materialise, the game went downhill for me.
Congratulations to Italy. I didn't see or interact much with the south in this game, so I can't really comment on it.
01 Mar 20 UTC I draw
01 Mar 20 UTC Congrats to Italy and I still do not understand what Russia has been doing!
01 Mar 20 UTC Congrats to Italy and I still do not understand what Russia has been doing!
01 Mar 20 UTC Okay so I did join the game before it started and was very thrown off when France and Turkey didn't join - when they did I had already started chatting - by the end I think I had talked to everyone about being friends and really didn't have an end game until the last couple of years. you were all great players and I tried to keep as many of you on so it counted as a draw for yall (hello Portuguese france)
01 Mar 20 UTC This was one of a few games that Ive played since rejoining the site for a year or so (I had to leave most others) so im thrilled to have worked with you all!
01 Mar 20 UTC the way I see it, England was so invested in controlling the Irish sea that he hadn't even smell the threat. maybe even now he is hoping to get Brest.
Germany failed to enter orders for all his units on several occasions (which is probably the result of 5 minute phase)
I was dumb enough to hope a high level player will give me that extra year of life which makes Turkey almost guaranteed to defend.
Austria went in a blaze no fault of their own.
Russia expected to draw after Italy hits 18.
01 Mar 20 UTC Hope to see you all kicking my ass in other matches soon enough
01 Mar 20 UTC I wanted to survived in POR and SPA on the stalemate line but G was having none of it, to the point where G lost MAR as a result, which I have no idea why he did that. So I supported Italy into SPA in the last year to quicken the inevitable result.
01 Mar 20 UTC it doesn't count as a draw to anyone, only a survival.
Congratulations to Italy.
01 Mar 20 UTC Might as well do a summary also. I hoped to sweep through austria with Turkey untill Italy's dominance prevailed before me, I had to get some of him. So against Turkey we go. I must say that England had me worried at the start but we negotiated and worked something out. I didn't like how Turkey was negotiating either so. As me and Italy swept through the ant that was Turkey I started to grow sus of Italy putting a sword to my back. But I trusted and as soon as Turkey was stomped, it happened. I tried to negotiate but it didnt work. I must say, good job Italy
01 Mar 20 UTC well petty squabbles rule today.
I started screaming ''Italy is winning'' as soon as he had taken Serbia, but others must have interpreted that as my attempt to turn the tide, or maybe, judging by the continuation, no one looked further then their own small ambitions.
01 Mar 20 UTC Well said Turkey
01 Mar 20 UTC Thank you, in hindsight the only thing that could have saved us was to form a juggernaut in 1904.

Unfortunately, this is again a game which proves that the highest rated player should be captured and executed immediately.
01 Mar 20 UTC hey don't kill the rich
01 Mar 20 UTC I got lucky in a few games early on (years ago) and am just now getting back into it so im rusty - plus in an anon game you have no idea who has 10,000 points and who has 10
01 Mar 20 UTC Yes, but this wasnt anon.
During the game I simply checked your classic press stats and that is why I screamed 'wolf' as soon as you had taken the seemingly unimportant Serbia.
I'm happy to be proved correct but sad to be eliminated so brutally :( :P
