19 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck to everyone!
19 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello & welcome to you all, I am sure that this will be a quick fun game!
Good luck & Happy hunting.
25 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: At this point...I'm unable to help you and I'm forced to help Germany to repay his valuable help against Turkey. I still see this game as a draw since I don't believe that no one will be able to achive lucky number 18.
25 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: Damn global chat!...oppss..
25 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: now I know what is going on up north.
25 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: Don't you worry about north...Start worrying about your area...you are next in line!
25 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: will see we are still in negotiations.... good luck up there !
25 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: Well I don't know!
It seems to me that once you dive into Germany you will be up to 14.
Then 4 centres from France & you are home & dry!!!
I assume that is why the army Edi moved to Liv last season?
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Guys I think we can finish the retreat and build phase quick don't wait 12 hours for it to finish. In the original rules there is no discussion during this phases, I think we can speed up the game.
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Maybe...
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1905: I don't think you have to many options in retreat , I want to be done with 1905 !!
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1905: There are many available options, which need to be discussed. I have the right to stretch the limit, so it makes it easier for me to submit orders in the 12 hours given :)
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1905: thats true well lets wait then !!
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Im good now, anytime about now will do just fine :)
29 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Do any of you know what a stalemate line is?
If so I suggest you start thinking about where & how you can put it together before England gains an outright win.
03 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Crap. Late night last night and I forget to enter my orders. That about seals my fate.
05 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: I'm in the mood for some Turkey!....and is not even thanksgiving!
05 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: England may get to Turkey and completely surround the outer edge of the board, well I have never seen that ever....;) ;) ;) LOL!
07 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1911: That Turkey is so juicy and moist...I'm about to have another piece.
08 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1911: I would like for you to take all of this juicy, moist Turkey.
You would then be sat on 17 centres and still be refusing to attack your friends in order to take the outright win which is what the game is all about.
In any normal game you would have taken out Germany your friend.
In any normal game Germany would have taken out Austria.
You three are not playing the game as it should be played.
Of course you will allways share in a 3 way draw between you if you enter games together & agree never to attack each other.
I am sure you will all go on to amass lots of points together but none of them are earned by playing diplomacy.
I just hope that other genuine players are sucked in to playing against you three.
There is no honour or merit in what you have done and I feel sorry that you think it is clever!
08 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1911: There's nothing worse than SORE loser. You have no foundations on your accusations. Anyone can go back and check our stats...yes..we’ve played games together...we've ATTACKED each other...and we've never been on a draw game together! So..tell me...how and when have we shared in a 3 way draw?? You talk about honor...but you don't have any!

Making accusations just because of the fact that you will lose this game is shameless, low, and says a lot about your honor. You dare to talk like you are superior to everyone else, but you sir are the one that don’t have any honor! You are the most arrogant and abusive player I’ve ever played with. You talk to other players thinking that your skills are way above everyone else. You ended up losing this game because you always played it in a very selfish manner only thinking about yourself. Why didn’t you form an alliance with Russia or even with Austria?? You took over Russia…you’ve never done anything positive with Austria…so..now…because you were egocentric we’ve cheated? When I reach Moscow your only offer was to stay back! One heck of an offer! Your only intention of this game was to “teach” everybody a lesson on how to play.

Be a man and have the stones to refute anything here with FACTS and not with baseless accusations!
08 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1911: FYI , Diplomacy is a game of negotiations, alliances, promises kept, and
promises broken. In order to survive, a player needs help from
others. In order to win the game, a player must eventually stand
alone. Knowing whom to trust, when to trust them, what to promise,
and when to promise it is the heart of the game. Remember, you are
a diplomat first, a commander second.
08 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1911: So WHY have you not gone for the WIN?
That is the aim of the game. But each of you have had opportunities to take advantage of each other to create a winning position for yourselves, but none of you have done so.
This is illogical & poor play in my mind.
Forgive my arrogance but it is as a result of 50 years playing experience against players that created this game & the hobby.
Yes, I do think I know a little about how the game was designed to be played.
It is definiatly not how you have played your game so far.
08 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1911: LordDuke I know you are only talking to England about winning the game, but I would likely have a discussion with you and Allan Calhamer about this game. I think you are upset because it did not work out well for you. And anyway we don't know what is going to happend yet, Germany is getting bigger and good position there might be a fight soon. who knows that what keeps the game interesting. If you thinkg this game about logic moves you should consider playing Diplomacy Gunboat all the time.
08 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1911: Im sorry guys, I am with Turkey and I know I got taken out as well :( But to be fair, Germany was supported back from the dead, the board is dotted with Pink and brown, you don't even have defenesive lines, your troops are mixed in with each other.
08 May 10 UTC Spring, 1912: not me !! I am still holding !!!
08 May 10 UTC Spring, 1912: You should have been taken out about 3 years back. When Germany could have walked into 2 of your home centres & Italy the other one & I Serbia all in one autumn season.
Germany refused to do so.
Your just holding on as you put it, has given you Ser, Rum & Gre but only with the assistance of Germany & England.
09 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1912: I guess Turkey is happy now that I am a target ... go ahead and set the press Germany Invades Austria .
09 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1912: Since I been betrayed I can support your move to Sevastopol.
11 May 10 UTC Good game everyone ! It was really interesting !
