14 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1901: A seven-way draw it is!
14 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Yeah, that way nobody has their feelings hurt. We'll all have fun, but in a safe, respectful way.
17 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: wow.
17 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Indeed.
18 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Italy. I love you. 0_0 LOL
20 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1903: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
20 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1903: I'm going to guess... Austria?
20 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1903: :(
21 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1903: Anyone know any good jokes?
21 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1903: How much loyalty does one owe an ally that gave absolutely nothing, but demanded everything while in the end helping a mutual adversary grow?
21 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1903: In dip, theres no such thing as loyalty
21 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1903: I was thinking more like "Russia, England, and Austria walk into a bar..."
21 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1903: I don't know how the rest of that joke goes, but I'm sure Austria ends up totally wasted... :D
21 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1903: Also, Italy, wtf?
21 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1903: I'd call that ally Italy. ;)
22 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: an alliance isn't constantly doing absolutely nothing to help, then asking for your centers every three messages.
22 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: True that. Thanks for all of the help you provided to me this game. I couldn't have grown so powerful without your help!
22 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: Very powerful indeed.
22 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: Currently stockpiling my lira to pay back the debt
22 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: At last...
22 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: ...it is all I as I have foreseen.
22 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: Huh, would have sounded more ominous without the accidental extra "I". Oh well...
22 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: Guess I didn't foresee that. :D
26 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
26 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Did uh... Did the G&E stab make Russia rage quit :o
27 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
27 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: New Russia here, hi everyone!
27 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Welcome new Russia!
28 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Welcome
30 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1905: GG Austria
31 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1905: Auf wiedersehen.
01 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: England is slimy, but Germany is a real scumbag
01 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: It's easy to excel without lying in this game. My guess is that both these bozos are us republicans
01 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: .... Good hearing from you, italy.
02 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 1906: Poor form that was. Childish. Petty. Ugly. Unbefitting a gentleman.

Humble apologies
07 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Hm. Don't think you can get to eighteen from here.
10 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 1908: I think I'll put my hand up for a four way draw. I don't think we can safely eliminate another player without allowing a solo, at this point.
10 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 1908: jeez what happened here?? :PPP
10 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Where, exactly?
10 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 1908: In Germany/Scandinavia.
10 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Beautiful rainbows.
12 Feb 20 UTC Okay friends, the game seems over. Draw votes in, please.
12 Feb 20 UTC my vote is up.
12 Feb 20 UTC Gg all
12 Feb 20 UTC Gg!
12 Feb 20 UTC Good game all! Sorry for putting you through a crappy stab. It was the honest truth I shared with you: I don't get how you convert from a strong alliance to a solo bid with England, and I've had a few EF or EG draws so I wanted to try a different play.

I knew it was not a great shot when I stabbed Germany but I figured if I waited they'd only get stronger. In retrospect I stabbed into a situation where I was constantly out of position... I kept having to move my fleets and couldn't hang around to make convoys.

I think the biggest thing though was just that it's so far to the other side of the stalemate line that as England you really need to get over it before you do any big betrayals. Sometimes you can cheat it out with France but France is just so much closer to Tunis and Germany.

I think the right play would've been to keep going with Germany and tried to cross into Tunis without fighting on two fronts, but then I might've entered a race with Germany if they were in Austria and Russia already.

Alas! Good game again all, I really enjoyed this one. DrugTito, thanks for taking over Russia's position when the EG assault made them ragequit. XD
12 Feb 20 UTC I think the trick for soloing as England is not to have a strong alliance; keep powers on the board in Europe who hate each other, and switch allegiances over and over while slowly expanding. Eventually, you can steamroll the leftovers.
12 Feb 20 UTC And yes thank you for taking over - was really looking forward to killing off Pelagus, shame I was denied the opportunity!
12 Feb 20 UTC Ha, that's a good idea! :) I like it.
12 Feb 20 UTC Hey guys GG, I am happy that I have taken over.
I am grateful for the stab because it helped me live.
Objectively speaking, I am not of the opinion that you made the wrong move.
First ''mistake'' that got you out of position is the builds you did after the stab, if you had built an army in EDI and fleet LIV you would convoy in the mainland instantly, and that would give you an extra tempo.

All in all, you have to try at one point, and you have chosen the right moment, otherwise Germany would have built a unit at home and take more centers from me in the upcoming year.
