(Off character: I wish everyone a nice game and lots of fun! Can someone point me to a rules summary for this variant? And since everyone speaks german (right?), is it ok to write in German as well? By the way, any future grammatical or spelling errors are intended to work on my characters personality ;P
Cheers, Tobias)
19 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1: Glad to have you with us, Paradise :)

The rules for the variant were in the mail announcing that we were switching to playing with five players. Here's a link, I don't know if the client here blocks links being posted though - http://www.dipwiki.com/?title=Ancient_Mediterranean

The Egyptian people are filled with eternal sadness when Re, God of the sun vanishes behind the horizon and sends his fire over the dunes.
21 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.

07 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 4: Gourmets of the Mediterranean! The olive fields of Sardinia have been fertilized and improved through the high technology of Carthagan engineers, and now they produce the best olive oil of the Mediterranean! It's silky smooth, with a delicate taste of seasalt and a deep-forest colour. It is most highly suited to oil spearheads and shields, it makes for a good lubricant for old leather and is perfect for waterproofing battleship planks. I guess you could eat it, but I'm not sure who would consider that seriously at all.
