I t may have been a different story if Spacedip had set up a stalemate line/defense against you rather than keep trying to take me out. I believe that Galahad111 & KCelec understood the situation but sadly, the penny never dropped for Spacedip to wake up.

14 Jan 20 UTC	Yes, I did understand the situation and tried my best to give the proper defense. But there is only so much that can be done after a specific point and surrounded by so many troops.
14 Jan 20 UTC	Yes, however it was mine first and I knew you would not try to get it back, as you needed your fleets to establish your win elsewhere. It also allowed you to stiffle any further encroachment my my two puny fleets.

15 Jan 20 UTC	Galahad111. You played a sound game based on good logic. BC played very well and deserved his victory. He took his chances whenever they appeared. That is when luck plays a part, as we collectively react in different ways depending on what we think may happen next.
15 Jan 20 UTC	Scarsafa. Cuba attacked very strongly and with skill. I could not risk him landing on my continent and I did not know if he had read or understood or assumed he was safe from Florida even though his home centers were wide open. My defense of my home centers is always my main concern. Without them you cannot reach the endgame stages.
