24 Nov 19 UTC Seriously, Turkey. I know the game is all about conniving, but there's nothing for you to gain. You're just being a dick for no reason.
24 Nov 19 UTC Like you could have thrown to England, Chaqa, lol
24 Nov 19 UTC The emptiest threat I've ever heard
24 Nov 19 UTC Get well soon
24 Nov 19 UTC Finally. Good game all.
24 Nov 19 UTC Ziran, bruh. You are frustrating
24 Nov 19 UTC Can you be more specific? I'm quite new at this.
24 Nov 19 UTC I have my guess as to what you mean but I want to be sure.
24 Nov 19 UTC Germany had one fleet... You were like the most cautious England, ever
24 Nov 19 UTC By the way Germany, feeding Turkey that line about asking to tap GoL. *chef's kiss*
24 Nov 19 UTC I had awkward unit placement. But yeah I could have played a lot of that better.
24 Nov 19 UTC No, that was a line I feed you... I expected a better defence. I was trying to keep Germany happy with me.
24 Nov 19 UTC *fed
24 Nov 19 UTC It was a mistake on my part. I should have just told Germany yes, then not done it.
24 Nov 19 UTC I don't remember feeding a line to anyone. I did ask Turkey to tap GoL, but didn't expect him to actually do so.
24 Nov 19 UTC @Turkey - I don't think I'd have believed you anyway. I was pretty much at the point of "just make sure I keep Munich and Berlin" train of thought.

I made a major mistake in being too trusting of England. Normally I'm the stabber, not the stabbee. lol
24 Nov 19 UTC Overall, this was a fun game. I actually really enjoyed working with England up until the stab, and had some fun threatening to throw the game over and over.

@Turkey - why couldn't I have thrown to England? Brest, Paris, Holland, Kiel, Berlin, Munich. You'd have to take 2/3 of War, Moscow, Tunis
24 Nov 19 UTC I tried to talk you into it...
24 Nov 19 UTC That was easy in my position
24 Nov 19 UTC Moscow and Tunis were guaranteed.
24 Nov 19 UTC Also, you wouldn't have gone through with it
24 Nov 19 UTC England also has zip for armies. I don't see it. Maybe if I play it terribly.
24 Nov 19 UTC I was pretty sure t was a 3WD after you guys started to eliminate Russia. I made sure to maintain my hold on Germany proper to ensure I was vital to the stalemate.
24 Nov 19 UTC I'm pretty happy with the result, I guess. A 3WD in a major press game, I'll take a win.
24 Nov 19 UTC You played very well, considering the circumstances.
24 Nov 19 UTC The turn when England stabbed me (Spring 1907) was interesting. It was well-executed, but what's funny is, the turn BEFORE I had strongly considered stabbing, but decided against it because I wouldn't have a space open to build. Oh well.
24 Nov 19 UTC In your defence Germany, I was in a terrible position to stab you. I also really enjoyed working with you. And you put up a great defence.
24 Nov 19 UTC I actually think your stab on me was ill-timed. You should done it earlier OR have waited until I was more invested against Russia, and letting France live was bad for us both.
24 Nov 19 UTC One thing I think helped me was that I had maintained the strong "no English armies, no German fleets" thing. On the surface this makes it harder for either to stab, but really it means English stabs have limited potential. I never lost Paris, for example, and never really felt threatened in the center. I was able to play the stall game in Denmark/Sweden/Low Countries/France for years.
24 Nov 19 UTC I agree I should have done it sooner. Either right after I took Spa and Por, or right after I took Tun.
24 Nov 19 UTC I also legitimately tried to form a bloc with Russia to hold you both off, but he was never biting on it, even when I laid out the reaosns why he was likely to be elimianted over me... oh well.
24 Nov 19 UTC Y'all were both too stubborn to listen to the voice of reason (also know as Turkey)
24 Nov 19 UTC @Eng - I was expecting it in 1904 or 1905. That's partially why I had requested the specific builds you did - they slowed it down. And also why I "demanded" Sweden - to keep a good balance in my favor.
24 Nov 19 UTC Yeah, I was quite disappointed when you asked for Sweden. I had no good reason to say no.
24 Nov 19 UTC Germany & England are without a doubt the countries I'm most adept at playing in press, and in Gunboat too, so I know how to navigate pretty well. The stab really caught me off guard, so well done. Mainly France's cooperation - I couldn't imagine why he would favor you over me, when I hadn't really done much to him all game dishonestly.
24 Nov 19 UTC I couldn't get anyone to do what I wanted in the east. lol. I talked my ass off trying to get people to lay off Austria, Russia to stab Turkey etc.
24 Nov 19 UTC Well, Italy attacking Austria in 1901 was the first sign of trouble.

All things considered - we played a fucking killer E/G in the early/mid years of the game. Our units were grinding up some French and Russian centers.
24 Nov 19 UTC "Well, Italy attacking Austria in 1901 was the first sign of trouble."

Truer words were never spoken. I'm just glad Italy and Russia were eliminated, they deserved nothing from this game.

Turkey played a good game early on. Congrats.
24 Nov 19 UTC I deserved nothing from this game? I talked Turkey out of attacking me and you were the first to be eliminated. So if someone deserved shit from this game, that person would be you.
24 Nov 19 UTC Oh dear, lots of hard feelings from Austria :). Good game all, see you another time.
24 Nov 19 UTC @Russia: I decided to turn on Austria independently. My offer to give you Rumania convinced you it was the right move.
24 Nov 19 UTC *to ally with me*
24 Nov 19 UTC Austria was an easier target with Italy in their business. Austria didn't do itself any favors in some of our press exchanges...
24 Nov 19 UTC Ironically, that was a deliberate choice on my part. Your first message to me was about how Russia was too chatty and annoying, and I took that to mean you would rather be short and to the point.

*shrug* What'cha gonna do?
24 Nov 19 UTC I meant you were a smart ass
24 Nov 19 UTC And the demand of two fleets in 01 was annoying
24 Nov 19 UTC I think that is a reasonable request if an A/T was in the cards.
25 Nov 19 UTC Austria needed my help, not the other way around.
25 Nov 19 UTC An ask would have been fine. Our press styles didn't match up real well. I doubt Austria tried on purpose to piss me off, but it happened anyway...
25 Nov 19 UTC Yep
