03 Aug 19 UTC I don't understand what you were thinking this entire game, France.
03 Aug 19 UTC Good game. Well played Turkey. It's a pity we couldn't run the bump as allies
03 Aug 19 UTC If I hadn't lost the Black Sea, whole different game. I don't understand why France just kept suiciding into me instead of fighting you!
03 Aug 19 UTC Hi Turkey -- I should think it was pretty obvious. Fought a war with Germany, realized we were getting juggernauted. Declared a truce. Fought a war with you, realized Russia was soloing, declared a truce. What's not to understand?
03 Aug 19 UTC Yea that was a nice year for me. BS was key. But I did some mistakes too. I should not have loose both of my fleets later onm
03 Aug 19 UTC In any case, congratulations to Russia on an effective game. And with respect, Turkey, if you didn't want me to fight you, why did you take Marseilles and Spain?
03 Aug 19 UTC I can understand your both. France could have stop fighting you a bit earlier but it was hart for him. He was in a very weak spot...
03 Aug 19 UTC I needed builds to fight Russia, and you weren't lifting a damn finger to help fight him. In fact, you were HELPING him by being in Serbia and supporting him! In 1908-1909 you aided him, and then once I tried to send fleets to help relieve England, you BOUNCED ME in Mid-Atlantic for TWO YEARS.

And then you build armies and took back Marseilles and Spain when I NEEDED that build to push Russia back in the east to prevent his solo!

And then you DIDN'T HELP GERMANY in the center.
03 Aug 19 UTC I was honestly shocked I lost Black Sea. I got outplayed hard but I couldn't figure out why Italy + France just kept suiciding into me...
03 Aug 19 UTC Hi Turkey, well, it's always nice to air some of these things. Were these the years when Russia had declared a draw and you hadn't?
03 Aug 19 UTC Because from my side of the board, it was a coin flip which of you was the bigger solo threat.
03 Aug 19 UTC The draw vote is no indicator of how you should play. Thinking like that is silly. I never put up my draw vote that early.
03 Aug 19 UTC This was a sad game as Austria :( congrats Russia. Italy, I hope you enjoyed dooming us both.
03 Aug 19 UTC And of course I'm not going to let someone else into the Mid-Atlantic when they're sitting in one of my home centers. Once you pulled out and signaled you wanted peace I was happy to let you in.
03 Aug 19 UTC I was going for a solo, but it became clear early on Russia was the bigger threat. I suppose I could have put it up VERY early when the rest of you did, but what use is a 5-way draw with minor players like England left?

Regardless of anything, I think your play was very poor. Hopefully you pick something up from this game about reading the board, because your bounces in MAO for 2 years and your Serbian army were very directly responsible for Russia's win.
03 Aug 19 UTC That's some bullshit, France. My fleet in NAO was fighting Russia and my draw vote was up by that point.
03 Aug 19 UTC Not true about your draw vote, but whatever. Frankly I think your play was poor: rather than consolidating your position in Eastern Europe, you let your forces get pulled west and made yourself vulnerable.

But forget about that. Why didn't you break into the North Atlantic when I cut Liverpool's support? You'd been trying it, and I put a fleet I had to sacrifice into position to make sure your move worked.
03 Aug 19 UTC Look at the map, it wouldn't have worked. Either:
1. Russia cuts MAO's support OR
2. Russia takes MAO

Either is a disaster for us.

My play wasn't great, but it all came down to the fact I lost Black Sea. Really, holding that one space means Russia never solos this game (and maybe I do), but also, I had to continually play 50/50 guessing games the entire time over here.
03 Aug 19 UTC And I'm sure you're qualified to judge who made mistakes this game, you've played so many games especially lately.
03 Aug 19 UTC Maybe. This, with respect (rather more than you've shown me) strikes me as a significant mistake:

The draw vote is no indicator of how you should play. Thinking like that is silly. I never put up my draw vote that early.

In a game where there is no other way to communicate, I suggest in the future you reconsider this tactic. It would have been an easy and simple way to signal you weren't trying to solo. Certainly that's why I benefited Russia.

But also, echoing Austria -- what was Italy doing? He invaded me with his last units for what seemed like shits and giggles.
03 Aug 19 UTC No respect because you haven't earned it as a player yet, IMO. In fact, I've seen nothing to indicate you're any decent whatsoever. Regarding the draw vote, I suppose I could have put it up, but there was little benefit to doing so as then it would either have been a 5-way draw (terrible for my GR, and also had England still in who was nearly dead).
04 Aug 19 UTC Hi Chaqa -- honestly, you seem like kind of a jerk. Now I'm definitely happy Russia won instead of you.
04 Aug 19 UTC Why can’t Turkey accept that the lose was just as much his fault as anyone else’s?
04 Aug 19 UTC Good game all.
04 Aug 19 UTC Congrats to Russia.
04 Aug 19 UTC Hi Germany — sorry I didn’t back off sooner. In hindsight seems clear I should have been fighting Italy and Turkey all along.
04 Aug 19 UTC It would have helped :-)
04 Aug 19 UTC England - did you not see my support signals?
04 Aug 19 UTC I have never played this way before so all the “signals” are foreign to me but I’ve read the forums and stuff and learned a lot
