29 Aug 19 UTC GG to all

Austria, I still love you, we could have been friends for life <3
29 Aug 19 UTC Well done England. I was worried we weren’t on the same page for a few turns!
29 Aug 19 UTC Well done too Turkey. We just about for our act together to stop you :-)
29 Aug 19 UTC Yeah, I'm going to review my moves at some point and see if I could have pulled out the win. I really thought I had it for a while.
29 Aug 19 UTC So did I!
29 Aug 19 UTC Great game everyone. I enjoyed a lot our fight Germany.
Well done too France, I was also worried for a moment about you, with your only armies builds in 1909, and you moving up to Bur in 1910 :)
I don't see any missed opportunities on your part Turkey.
I think we have to thank Italy for defending until his last unit, effectively delaying Turkeys advance, allowing France and me to be ready on that side of the map.
29 Aug 19 UTC Tried signaling to France that I'd use the units to hold off turkey if he'd leave me Portugal but I guess he made the right read that he'd have time to still stop the solo.
29 Aug 19 UTC It was a good attack, turkey. I figured I'd get a bit more help against france/a stronger Austria attacking you earlier and buying me time but no luck.
29 Aug 19 UTC Agreed with E/I, 100% credit to Italy for abandoning France and fighting me for the greater good.

@England/everyone, after review, I think the big decision for me was ION -> ADR in A06. I thought for a long time about this move during that phase. My bet was that it would let me kill Austria fast enough to push north past the stalemate line, rather than trying to take MAR/SPA in the west. This was a move that I wanted to sit and think about for longer than 24 hours.

With the game playing out like it did, it would have been better to do ION -> TUN. That then frees up TYN to probably move to WES or even GoL if I made a next-level read, trapping either one of the Italian fleets and probably increasing my chance at a solo.

Other moves I'm thinking about but the stalemate was probably already sealed:
VEN supporting TRI -> TYR instead of moving to PIE in S10
VIE supporting BUD -> GAL instead of moving to BOH also in S10

Unrelated, France's move of GAS -> BUR in A07 also ended up being super important. If France took back MAR instead, Italy would likely have disbanded their army, which means they likely die a year sooner. This could have rippled to a better solo chance for me, as Italy would have slowed me for one less year, or possibly gives France the chance to build fleets in MAR and fight me off.
30 Aug 19 UTC Yep. I think I turned on Turkey a turn or two too late. Not the best setup on my part
