22 Feb 19 UTC [Ghana]:

Let me know if you can't see it.
22 Feb 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:It's not anon.
22 Feb 19 UTC [Ghana]:Yeah, I know. I figured it's sketchy to make another anon game when many people will come from this game. If this one ends, we'll know who's playing this one. And that game is open to everyone, after all.
22 Feb 19 UTC [Oz]:Hey everyone, she's okay, but her car isn't and it'll be a couple of hours before I'm free again.

I actually entered a Draw vote back at the start of the game when I saw 9 NMRs.

I was also the last player that joined when the clock was at 2 minutes, didn't want to see 17 people suffer for being short one.

Thank you all for pulling together and getting this paused, much love to my fellow Diplos <3
22 Feb 19 UTC Moderator: (jmo1121109): Hello everyone,

Due to the unusual situation here I want to offer everyone a couple of options.

1. everyone draws
2. I switch this game to have 48 hour phases and you can play it out as a full length game
3. You find a time to play that works for most people and we can force CD anyone who doesn't want to play at that time (force CD does not count against RR) and advertise for a replacement on the forum.

I personally think 2 is the best option, but I'll leave it to the 9 people still alive to work out and I'll return tomorrow to see what you decided on.

Thanks, and glad to hear your gf is doing well oz.

22 Feb 19 UTC [Ghana]:Thanks JMO. I vote we continue as a normal game.
22 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:So glad your gf is doing Oz, and thank you so much for being player #17. I was sending all sorts of messages to get this one going.

I have an idea (just a proposal.)
We can start in 2.5 hours (because people have said they're free then.) That's a couple hours from now. We play until one person needs to go, then we shift to a 48 hour/phase game. Does that work for everyone?
22 Feb 19 UTC [Ghana]:By normal I mean the 48 hour option.
22 Feb 19 UTC [Ghana]:Thats good too.
22 Feb 19 UTC [Argentina]:I think 48 hour phases would be a good alternative
23 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:Okay, well, I will vote to unpause at 9PM EST and will be around.
23 Feb 19 UTC [South-Africa]:What about 24 hour phases
23 Feb 19 UTC [Ghana]:Will do.
23 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:Actually, I'm here now. I'm voting to unpause.

Also, something to mention is that I can't play this coming week, or I could with severe difficulty. So, that incentivizes me to draw, at least hopefully. That's where I stand.
23 Feb 19 UTC [USA]:I feel like 7 minutes per phase is a little bit too little.
23 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:Okay, so it's about 2.5 hours from the original pause.

Is everyone good to go? If we don't start now, it's definitely advisable to continue it normally with 48 hour phases.
23 Feb 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:Glad she's ok Oz!

I'll unpause.
23 Feb 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:I'm also voting draw.
23 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:Everyone: Set a 5 minute timer for yourselves while you're doing other things that repeats. Refresh every 5 minutes to see if everyone's unpaused and put in provisional orders. I have done that without messaging the people who have sent me stuff.
23 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:I'll see what the mods think: We start in 44 minutes now, and if only one or two people haven't voted to unpause, I'll ask them to find a replacement, like jmo said.
23 Feb 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:Good idea.
23 Feb 19 UTC Moderator: (Szpoti): I have provisionally changed the phase length to one day, and reset the phase. Remember, the phase length is only the maximum allowed time. If everyone readies, the phase will progress.
I'll keep spectating the match, and will try to accommodate your needs.
23 Feb 19 UTC [India]:I hope to draw if changing time. And I think it is better to make new games.
23 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:Agreed.
24 Feb 19 UTC [Oz]:I'd also prefer a draw but I'll go with the group
24 Feb 19 UTC [Argentina]:My draw vote has been cast since we had all those NMRs in the beginning, so I'm down for that.
24 Feb 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:I am voting draw as well.
24 Feb 19 UTC [Ghana]:Mine too.
24 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:Great. I hope we end up drawing.
24 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:Glad everyone's here, but not everyone has voted.
24 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:PR, South-Africa, Quebec, USA, Europe? Are you interested in drawing as well?
24 Feb 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:We could eliminate Europe and USA, that gets rid of two of them.

We also should wait until China and Libya are dead.
24 Feb 19 UTC [Quebec]:I have already voted Draw.
24 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:This is SoS, their pot is almost nothing, so it doesn't really matter if they're in the draw.
24 Feb 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:True.
25 Feb 19 UTC [Near-East]:Libya's dead now. I guess we're waiting on South-Africa and Pacific-Russia, especially.

As an aside, I'm going to be SUPER busy this week and would really appreciate a draw or pause here. I'm hoping for a draw, as this game was never meant to go this way.
26 Feb 19 UTC Moderator: (Claesar): Game paused until Sunday by request. If you object to this pause, email
26 Feb 19 UTC [Quebec]:When we joined the game it was a 7mn phase and it was supposed to last 3 to 4 hours. Now we are stuck with it for maybe one month.
Do the right thing here guys. Draw it or Cancel it.
26 Feb 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:I'm voting draw. I suggest everyone else do likewise.
27 Feb 19 UTC [Oz]:I've already voted draw. I'd prefer to draw rather than cancel, but I've also voted cancel. I agree with the argument made by Quebec
27 Feb 19 UTC [Ghana]:I've voted draw. I'm pretty confident Argentina is the bandit and if you think about it, why would he accept a draw?
27 Feb 19 UTC [Pacific-Russia]:Draw
27 Feb 19 UTC [Oz]:Because he's a decent human being and a self-respecting player who derives little satisfaction in winning a game where his neighbors didn't show up to the fight.
27 Feb 19 UTC [Ghana]:I hope so too, but its anon and anon draw so how can you know?
27 Feb 19 UTC [Argentina]:I said before that I already cast my draw vote at the beginning of the game
27 Feb 19 UTC [Argentina]:It might be the people with only 1 or 2 centers left or there might still be people that are AFK because of the pause
27 Feb 19 UTC [China]:I voted draw
27 Feb 19 UTC [Pacific-Russia]:Voted for draw + Unpause
27 Feb 19 UTC [South-Africa]:i voted
02 Mar 19 UTC [Ghana]:Good game all. Who was the last draw hold out?
