30 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1903: We will see how it will be
30 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Only joking. This is my first public messaging only game - not sure what I think about it as a format. Seems to enourage a hive-mind consensus on the most boring game possible - but we will see, as you say.
30 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1903: @Italy and what you going to do ? Taking to account new troops near your on Pie*
30 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Any one know why "All countries have entered orders." and we still have timer on ?
30 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1903: @England, I'm going to defend Pie this turn
30 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1903: people have hit save but not ready
30 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1903: people have hit save but not ready
30 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Kk
01 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1904: @ England, peace? I only moved to the channel to cut support, didn't expect you to move away. Plus, it looks like you have bigger problems for the moment.
02 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1904: RIP me
05 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Austria, I'm sure you're as bored of this southeastern stalemate as I am. Neither of us has had a net change in SCs since 1901. Open to a negotiated solution.
06 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: @Turkey
Alright fine. This really isn't going how I thought it would and I am willing to come to an agreement with you.
06 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Great. How about you let me retake my home SC Con from Bul and I'll move Rum into Bul? You can have Rumania and disband the fleet currently in Constantinople. We'll then both DMZ the Balkans as much as possible.

This means one less SC for you at present, but your forces are in a much more logical arrangement than mine at the moment so you'll have much more potential to push your armies out in coming turns.
06 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Austria, if you use your fleet in Trieste you will have more abilities
06 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: I`m not interested to have war with you
06 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: @Turkey
Should I move my fleet at Con to the Aegean Sea, or are you going to support yourself into Con and I'll just disband instead of retreating?
06 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Either way is fine with me as I need to keep the army in Smyrna -- latter probably simpler.
06 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Ok, then I'll leave my army in Con until I have an opportunity to disband.
06 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Sounds good to me! Glad we can work together.
07 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Turkey and Austria, what are you going to do next?
07 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: I guess I'll need to protect myself against Germany, unless they want to make a deal?
07 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: It looks like a bad idea of making deal with Germany. After Germany get few territories, he will win, that's why we need to make a deal between Austria, Turkey and Italy against Germany
07 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Oh, I would be open for a draw once the small ones are gone
07 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: This case will satisfy me but in any way, 4 countries are too much isn't it?
07 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: No, I have had to do that plenty of times. It is not preferrsble, but acceptable.
07 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: What other thinks about that?
08 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: I'm generally against playing for a draw as I think it distorts the game and makes it less fun - though we're through the looking glass already with public messaging and sum-of-squares scoring.
09 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1906: Austria, could you support my convoy from Ankara to Sevastopol via the Black Sea? It would be much appreciated. I could then support you northwards later on.
09 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1906: sure
11 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Austria, you've been looking pretty checked-out for the past few turns -- are you still interested in playing? We could always pause and get someone else in if other people feel like it.
11 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm ok, just a little distracted for a few days. It seems like the game is getting a bit stagnated though.
11 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Cool, no worries. Yeah, it's not the most interesting game at the moment, but worth pushing on I think. Do you want any support this turn, e.g. to Ukraine or Adriatic?
11 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: I don't think I need any support right now.
11 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Sorry, support to Adriatic Sea doesn't make any sense. But if you take Adriatic Sea this turn I think we'll be in a strong position to move west (sorry Italy!).
11 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Just last message. Fair enough.
11 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: *saw
12 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Great :)
12 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: I need to remember you that Germany will win this game.
12 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Germany has 12 regions + 2 from England + 2 from France. Germany needs only 2 regions from us to win this game. For example Por and Spain
12 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Think about that me dear friends
12 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1907: *my
12 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Let's see where we are in a few turns. ;) This is part of the distortion introduced by sum-of-squares scoring, I suppose -- less incentive to prevent a solo.
13 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: OK, looks like we're pretty much done. I hadn't banked on people repeatedly not entering any orders.
14 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1908: Turkey, I need you to take out German support in Ukraine if you can.
14 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1908: Blitzkrieg Bop (The Ramones)
15 Feb 19 UTC Sorry about that, Austria. I assumed I'd need to hold Sev to stop Germany taking it.
15 Feb 19 UTC Germany, I love how you've come to life in the chat purely to troll - tbh I've done the same in the past.
15 Feb 19 UTC Well, I don’t have much serious stuff to comminicate to you guys right now. I would say it is pretty clear anyway what the status is.
16 Feb 19 UTC Phew. Well done, Germany!
16 Feb 19 UTC Thks. My first solo win.
