24 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: it means he's no longer playing because he hasn't submitted moves. another player can take his place now
24 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Thanks.
24 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Moderator: (Claesar): Game paused for an investigation. Please do not vote to Unpause, Cancel or Draw. Doing so will result in a penalty i.e. points docked.
24 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Investigation?
24 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Someone might have been cheating in a ranked game, let it run its course, these happen fairly regularly
27 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Moderator: (Claesar): Investigation concluded. As soon as we have a new Turkey (or I get bored of waiting for one), we'll continue :-)
27 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Thanks Cleasar
27 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Thanks!
27 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Appreciate it, Claesar!
27 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Moderator: (Claesar): I got bored, let's unpause :-(
28 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Newbie here, filling in for Turkey
28 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Welcome
28 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Moderator: (Claesar): Welcome!
29 Jan 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Well shit
29 Jan 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: I told you to change your path
30 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1905: fair
30 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1905: So Austria has now stabbed everyone in the game except for England and is attempting a solo. I'm willing to try and stop him. Anybody else?
31 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1905: If France NMRs, is everyone on board for pausing to find a replacement?
31 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Whew!
01 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: OK, so everybody appears to be onboard.

Let me reiterate, the objective of everyone is to defeat Austria.

Given his play, he will not partner with you and if he does, it will only be so long as it achieves him his solo victory.

No more fighting between each other, no more trying to get your centers back from your neighbor. None of that accomplishes anything other than to give him his solo, which for you means, no points.

If we are successful, everyone remaining shares equally in the draw. If we fail, Austria shares all the points with himself.

So if your units are not attacking or supporting an attack on Austria, move them to where they will be able to do so.

Good luck everyone.
01 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: That actually went much better than I expected with the exception of the move into Con. Thank you, everybody.
02 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: We have the makings of a stalemate in the Mediterranian. If we could get another fleet or two there (England, you willing to move to N Africa?) we could shift things in our favor.
03 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1906: Welp, themselves the breaks. Fucked up and one of my move orders didn't proc. Looks like I've no chance of pulling this one out of the fire. Well played everyone.
03 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1906: Thems* and build*

Damn autocorrect.
03 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1906: Regardless how this ends, thoroughly enjoyable game right up to my own fuck up.
04 Feb 19 UTC The coalition of the willing is doing pretty well but don't sell yourself short Austria, as we could start fighting amongst ourselves again and you could still solo.
04 Feb 19 UTC Ok everyone, this turn is the key. If we can please stop fighting each other, (which accomplishes nothing), and focus on getting our units to the front line where they can kill Austrians, we have a very good chance of winning.

Austria may have already hit its high water mark. Now let's make the tide roll back.
04 Feb 19 UTC I hope you all find Russia's little pep talks as invigorating as I do.
05 Feb 19 UTC lol
05 Feb 19 UTC :D
05 Feb 19 UTC OK, on three. One, two, three, Kill Austrians!
05 Feb 19 UTC Well done everyone!
05 Feb 19 UTC Well crap, we lost France!
05 Feb 19 UTC But I agree, well done. And thank you England and Germany.
05 Feb 19 UTC At this point I think we are at the start of a very drawn out battle which could very easily fracture into a half dozen petty little wars. I feel all survivors (possibly excepting France) have earned their place on the board.

I am inputting my vote for Draw, I hope you all will join me.
05 Feb 19 UTC I cannot speak for the coalition, but I would be agreeable to a draw at this point as I believe the end is inevitable but would take considerable time to achieve.

I will disagree with you about France though, as he has proven an invaluable member of the coalition.

I will continue on with our attacks, but will likewise submit a draw.
05 Feb 19 UTC I'd like to be more of a PITA for Russia and Austria, but will gladly accept a draw :D

Does anyone know how France's missing vote would be counted should England also vote for a draw?
05 Feb 19 UTC I'm guessing we'd need France back to vote or his replacement to do so.
05 Feb 19 UTC If he misses the next phase, his vote wouldn't be required I believe, as he would be shown as having 'left.'

The only reason I provided a caveat for France was in the event he misses this phase as well. While Bamawhite has certainly earned a place in the draw, a replacement wouldn't have.
05 Feb 19 UTC next phase = the current retreat phase.
05 Feb 19 UTC And for what it is worth, this has been a most enjoyable game for me and much more interesting than any other I have played in my limited time here.
05 Feb 19 UTC Well, I guess that answers that question. On with the attack?
05 Feb 19 UTC England?
05 Feb 19 UTC I'm fine to draw if thats what everyone wants, its been a good game and impressive to see everyone actually stop an impending solo. That doesn't happen often
05 Feb 19 UTC There really are only two choices IMO. Everybody votes draw or we continue with the destruction of Austria, which is now inevitable. Anything else would be a cluster, given the lack of front lines between coalition members (Turkey excepted).
06 Feb 19 UTC Good game everyone! Definitely one of the most enjoyable I've played. I nominate Russia as the best Diplomat in this match, but congratulations to all for the rapid and effective unified offensive to bring me to heel.
06 Feb 19 UTC And thanks to Austria for turning a boring draw partnership into an epic stab and revenge story.
06 Feb 19 UTC Real winner is turkey
06 Feb 19 UTC lol He gets a special award for being the biggest PITA in the game, to both Russia and Austria.
06 Feb 19 UTC :)
