13 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Finally the Civil War is resolved the way it should have been all along - Texas is free
13 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Speaking of being free Texas, how does a partnership sound? I'll respect your individuality and your autonomy of course.
13 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Good, both to a partnership and Texan individuality. Kansas belongs to the south, but everything east of that - you know, the evil upper class east coast - should be retaken by the good farming folk of the Heartlands
13 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: How would building a wall between us and Mexico sound to Texas?
13 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: It sounds like the natural order, but rest assured, the righteous Texans will be crossing that wall to wipe out the Hispaniolas. Our war with Mexico hasn't reached its just conclusion yet, even though the Civil War now has. Mexico must be brought under American law California, it is the only way those drug cartels will be shut down for good. Viva las Murica
13 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: (for the record, I am speaking in character as my nation - I am not racist towards Spanish, Mexican or South American people, in fact I love them very much and have many friends from those places, so please do not be offended by my seemingly racist comments, they are meant in the form of how I believe Texas might approach it's foreign policy in this situation, not as my own personal views)
13 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Love the disclaimer
13 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Hi all, enjoy! And love the character and appreciate the disclaimer.
13 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Y'know, we're all cool, Texas. I blame foreign countries for causing my car manufacturing plants to go out of business, y'know? Detroit, and some other cities I'm sure, were massively affected. It's time to bring manufacturing jobs back to America! Also... Bears, beer, cheese, corn, Cubs, Tomatoes and whatever Minnesota has to offer.
13 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Greetings all! This should be a fun game.

To my brethren in the West, what do you say to working together? As a united Canada we can demonstrate to those Yanks how to act in a civilized manner, and conduct a very polite invasion to help them change their ways. A good plan, eh?
14 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Greetings my Eastern brother,

A unification of Canada sounds tempting. In essence you are asking for Greenland. What's in it for me? I do understand that this should lie in the longer term.

brrr - chilly here
14 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: I didn't have any specific long term plans - it depends how I'm getting on with my neighbours! Do you have anything in particular you would ask for in exchange?
14 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: That is fine for me. :) I’d like to see the first moves before making commitments. I tend to keep to my commitments, hence first a noncommittal start and then a solid alliance based on mutual trust and benefit
14 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Yes, that's fair. I also tend not to decide on concrete plans until seeing other moves.
14 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Sounds like the Canadians are aligned :)
14 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Oh joy... y'know, I'm almost okay with that, except I seem to be in the path of destruction.
14 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Never fear Heartland, we will make Murica great again
14 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Sounds like the Canadians are aligned :)
14 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Oops - double post. Path of destruction is grossly exaggerated. Firstly, Canadians are super friendly people. Secondly, I am busy enough unifying Anchorage to Calgary.
14 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1999: To Texas I must say: be careful what you wish for. Heartlands is such a strong, unbeatable nation. Especially when its neighbours look another way the first few years.
