30 Nov 18 UTC That was poor sportsmanship to keep going after England went AFK, knowing that we had the stalemate line established
30 Nov 18 UTC Woooo. Glad I could help
30 Nov 18 UTC Goldfinger, if you werent the original player, thank you for stepping in.
30 Nov 18 UTC Very well played other than that, Austria. Good game everyone,
30 Nov 18 UTC it is a violation of site rules to vote "cancel" in a hidden draw game to indicate your desire to have a draw. I know many people who have been docked points for this.
30 Nov 18 UTC Yes, thanks very much goldfinger
30 Nov 18 UTC It would have been absolutely brutal staying up til past 3am for the game to end due to an nmr.
30 Nov 18 UTC I wasn't. Roadhog was your original England
30 Nov 18 UTC many of you were voting "cancel" to indicate draw for many turns prior to England leaving. A clear violation of the use of the cancel button.
30 Nov 18 UTC I was comfortable with a cancel rather than continuing to play if you didn't want a draw. It's 3:21AM where I am. The cancel was in earnest.
30 Nov 18 UTC Good game all. Only 4 hours past my bedtime lol
30 Nov 18 UTC Same as france^. And I know RJ, and he's in est as well.
30 Nov 18 UTC My opinion is that the cancel vote was out of a true desire to cancel the game due to an NMR, not as a desire to draw. This is not a situation where the mod team would dock points, Tugster.

(Disclaimer - not an actual mod)
30 Nov 18 UTC There was no stalemate line established until just now. After Sevastopol fell again to Austria was the first time in this game that there was a stalemate line.
30 Nov 18 UTC Totally false, the cancel votes were up well prior to England leaving , i have screen shots.
30 Nov 18 UTC Honestly I thought the call to cancel was legit.
30 Nov 18 UTC well, we shall see after I send in all the screen shots. Multiple cancel votes were up several turns prior to the English NMR
30 Nov 18 UTC The cancel vote is legit /AFTER/ England left. Not before, and all the votes were up several turns prior to England leaving.
30 Nov 18 UTC If you wish to submit a complaint, you may send the screenshots to webdipmod@gmail.com. But I think that's an end to the issue here.
30 Nov 18 UTC My cancel vote was not because of England's NMR. We've already explained that it's late as hell where we are. I was about to have to NMR myself. Frankly, I should have, because I'm going to be useless tomorrow morning.
30 Nov 18 UTC and goldfinger, if you are not an actual mod, then how would you know who the original England was?
30 Nov 18 UTC I obviously cant prove it, but I would have been fine with either a draw, cancel, or sweet death as it got incredibly late.
30 Nov 18 UTC Oh, I have mod powers. Just not on the mod team, so I don't make decisions on cases and such. They just modded me to run my tournaments.
30 Nov 18 UTC then why do you make a pseudo mod-ruling here in global?

=> If you wish to submit a complaint, you may send the screenshots to webdipmod@gmail.com. But I think that's an end to the issue here.
30 Nov 18 UTC Austria, sorry for my hot-headed complaint about poor sportsmanship. I have to admit that you're right that a stalemate line wasn't properly established until the end, and there was still the possibility of me and Italy screwing it up. I was frustrated that you were capitalizing on England's NMR rather than continuing as though you were still stalemated in the north, but I suppose I can't blame you for trying after pouring this many hours into the game and coming so close.
30 Nov 18 UTC ^either way, gg all, and well done austria
30 Nov 18 UTC GG
30 Nov 18 UTC just as a note to everyone: I know a guy that was docked a huge amount of points for using the cancel button to indicate a desire to draw in a hidden draw game. In this game, there were several cancel votes up well prior to England leaving. I am not going to bother with it, but you should be aware of this. Live games take about 3 hours, this one went longer because people were not readying up. So it hit 4 hours, but I am not responsible for people's time zones nor sleep patterns. bye bye..
30 Nov 18 UTC Moderator: (Claesar): Could anyone who used the Cancel button to signal their Draw vote email webdipmod@gmail.com? It's not allowed per our rules, for obvious reasons.
