30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: Hi boys! Thank you for joining my game!
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: I just want to show my appreciation to those who are willing to play a med game! You really have my respect!
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: As for alliances, @Italy, May I suggest a truce between us and focus on the east?
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: @Greece and @Egypt you all keen to put aside our differences and provide a yeeting to the west?
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: After the first phase, sure, Persia
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: @Persia: we weren't aware of any differences! We would like Petra since you can't reach it this year. We are happy to draw a peaceful border there and look to the west, about which rumors have reached us of troubling developments.
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: Hey hey wow there!
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: Perhaps I misread: "I suggest a truce between us and focus on the east?" Pharaoh can read more than hieroglyphics! And I believe @Egypt, @Persia and @Greece all lie east of you. Pharaoh can read maps! :-)
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: @Greece and @Egypt you all keen to put aside our differences and provide a yeeting to the west?
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: Wow, May I suggest a truce?
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: Absolutely, Persia, after the first year
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: @Carthage I wasn't aware there was a special difference between Med and Classic.
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: @Egypt very good that border is agreeable. This aggression in the east is something I feel we cannot overlook. The crown prince has handed me control of his armies and I intend to use them to their full capacity
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: @Greece I extend an open invitation to operate as one unit and with our combined strength we and drive this menace from the east
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: @Persia @Egypt His Emperor fails to see any evidence of aggression on any but you're part. You shall rue the day you crossed Rome.
30 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1: @Rome No aggression here yet. True, you have not embraced @Carthage's offer to "focus on the east", but we would be foolhardy to ignore it and must at least prepare for it. Perhaps you are not the warmonger he is. Perhaps you will join in eliminating a common threat. If he is so cavalier about openly threatening war, why would he stop with us?
01 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1: @Rome The crown prince acknowledges this and empathises with your situation. If you are indeed a non aggressor then Persia will respect your assertion and agree to leave you be. However we of @Persia, and although I cannot speak on behalf of @Egypt or @Greece I expect them to share an interest on this matter, will not stand for the @Cathage greed and any cooperation with them will be seen as liasoning with the enemy and a war crime. Tread carefully friend.
01 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1: @Italy, what I suggest is this: the east is a bunch of people who are trying to be cool and act like they are the chosen ones. It's the time to unite against those role playing actors and draw up between us :)
01 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1: We are Pharaoh. Of course we are Chosen. And cool, even in the afternoon heat. But yes, declare war on 60% of the Known World. Your ally-wannabe is a bad mathematician. Two against three: bad. Four against one: good.
01 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1: @Persia: We propose we enforce our border by meeting in Jerusalem twice a year. Perhaps we can share some wine, then return to our bases. We hope this meets with your approval, but are willing to discuss if not.
