04 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2000: The seeds of Russia will live on. You're only killing a boat.
04 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2001: Germany and Poland, would the two of you be willing to support me into Norway?
04 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2001: Sure thing, Ukraine
04 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2001: No problem.
04 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2001: Egypt, I am planning to take Venice, you don't mind do you?
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: Based on Egypt's moves, I think they do mind.
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: Egypt, Germany, I concede and will not support any of my units. I have clearly lost this fight and dont wish to take days for it to finish. You 4 played well and made smart alliances. Good game all.
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: ukraine help me get croatia or dont
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: Thank you for the kind words, Spain :) Honestly, I wouldn't've gone after you if Egypt never expressed interest.
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: Germany, who takes Milan? I want to avoid a bounce.
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: If you let me have it, it will be the last territory I take. But I do not insist.
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: Germany im poking monaco so you can take marseilles if you want

Good game spain but if we finish off england an france an youre still alive im down to draw with you
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: I'd like Milan back, Poland... I had it at one point and I'm salty the French took it back
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: Okay.
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: From Tuscany?
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: Yea. I mean... I'd be willing to leave it to you eventually. I just want to wipe out the Frenchies...
07 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2001: No, I get it. I can get behind that. France has been antagonizing us.
08 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2002: Egypt, I'll be supporting South Atlantic into Portugal. Unless you'd rather have me support Andalusia into Portugal via your convoy?

Poland, I'll be vacating Milan, it's all yours
08 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2002: Ukraine, Bielo is a defensive build.
08 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2002: Actually seville to portugal

Thanks germany
08 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: Germany, I will be taking Ireland but I can cut support from Clyde so you can take Liverpool
09 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: Sounds good, Ukraine
09 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: Egypt, I’ll be supporting Ligurian to Monaco to wrap this up.
09 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: Cool
09 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: Well, Marseillles cut it. But I'll be supporting you in again and into Madrid.
09 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: What are we going to do about that runaway army in Ruhr?
09 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: I'll be building in Frankfurt and Hamburg. I can squeeze it out.
09 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: Cool.
11 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2003: So, draw once France and Spain are gone?
11 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2003: :(
11 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2003: Sorry my guy Spain.
11 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2003: There is no need for sadness, I shall not allow Spain to perish entirely.

Now I can drop my facade of the poor punctuation player as we enter the endgame.

Spain, you seem to be a nice person, and the heart of Spain shall stay a noble orange. Once France is eliminated, I will be happy to include you in a draw!
11 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2003: As you wish.
11 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2003: The proud nation of Spain will forever remember the benevolence of the Kingdom of Egypt. Our people shall prosper under your rule!
11 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2003: I’m supportive of Spain drawing with us
12 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2003: Hooray!
12 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2003: Remember when France said all those mean things about Germany and Spain? And I backed up Spain and Germany (knowing the world orders of the future) and France was mean to me? Oh how the tables have turned!
12 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 2003: It's crazy how diplomacy can help one win or lose a game of Diplomacy. Maybe that's where it got its name from???
12 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 2003: Great minds, Ukraine! :)
12 Dec 18 UTC I dont think I've ever seen so many support holds in one turn lol
12 Dec 18 UTC All right... game is visually pleasing. Are we ready to end this?
12 Dec 18 UTC My draw vote is already locked in!
13 Dec 18 UTC My vote is in as well
13 Dec 18 UTC Madrid has voted to draw
13 Dec 18 UTC So that leaves... the Polish
13 Dec 18 UTC Or somebody is lying... oh I do love these bits
13 Dec 18 UTC Yep, I hadn't drawn yet.

Part of me thinks it would have been more interesting not to draw.

Part of me was considering launching a surprise invasion into Germany. I could casually move fleet into Baltic, and then take Berlin, and Denmark, probably another SC in Switzerland or Munich.

Then I could get another surprise invasion in on Ukraine, for a while, Kiev, Murmansk, and some Balkan SCs could have all been taken in one turn, if I had waited for the turn before builds, I could have done some damage.
13 Dec 18 UTC However, I did not, for I believe that friendship is truly magical.
13 Dec 18 UTC I’m glad you didn’t. As I probably stated during this game, I play to win with my allies. I’m glad we could stick together.
13 Dec 18 UTC GG All!
