22 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: Alright lads, there's a new sheriff in charge of the heartland.
22 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: Good luck
26 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2003: Wow, everyone really got lucky due to gross incompetence from Heartland this game
26 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2003: Seems a little uncalled for
27 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2003: Original heartland
27 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2003: Their moves were mostly competent. Just happened to be on the wrong side of three other players at once.
27 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2003: Actually Heartland had a great start -- just ran into Tx/Fla alliance, and then got piled in on.
27 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2003: And I don't think an eliminated player has any high ground when calling others incompetent...
27 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2003: I told Heartland to stop.

He didn't listen to me and got himself killed. Not really "our alliance's" fault
27 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2003: Old Heartland's gone in any case - just imagine my grief upon realizing I'd joined as Heartland and not as Texas.
16 Sep 18 UTC Spring, 2006: Moderator: (dargorygel): This game has been paused by request until September 25. Please vote unpause now, and when the requesting player returns, the final vote can be cast and the game start back up without further moderator action. IF you need help, or object, please email the mods. Thanks!
16 Sep 18 UTC Spring, 2006: not sure how somebody can impose a pause for two weeks on a game? I would like to know how to for future games. Thank you.
16 Sep 18 UTC Spring, 2006: pausing the game for 2 weeks is total BS,
18 Sep 18 UTC Spring, 2006: Moderator: (dargorygel): Due to objections received, this game will be unpaused and the absent player removed.
18 Sep 18 UTC Spring, 2006: Well that's curtains for Peru then.
18 Sep 18 UTC Spring, 2006: Chances are we will get a substitute. Is not a bad position. Not sure complaining was the way to go though.
18 Sep 18 UTC Spring, 2006: Yeah, as much of a lucky break for me this COULD be, it feels dirty.
18 Sep 18 UTC Spring, 2006: New Peru here. I come in peace!
18 Sep 18 UTC Spring, 2006: Folks - i have to apologize. Probably new to the community here but in the few past games when people had to travel or commit somewhere else they always asked/discussed it first. Never have i had somebody leave for 15 days without saying a word (pretty much imposing it to the group). Sounded like more of a strategic decision to me. Again - my apologies to the group. My fault.
19 Sep 18 UTC Spring, 2006: Well said BC -- I agree that two weeks without notice was surprising and to be regretted.
