On a brief read it looks like he was promising alliances with everybody, and then promising to to attack everybody in other messages... But it could just be rapid changes of alignment, I haven't checked the dates.

31 Aug 18 UTC	Spring, 2006: Oh men, Heartland is someone who give up if he is in postion to lose. That´s so unfair! I am the one who has to suffer from it. Thanks Heartland. That is really fair play. Any ideas how we can handle it in a fair way?

31 Aug 18 UTC	Spring, 2006: Also, the way the site handles it is that it becomes available for no "wager". Usually a replacement comes in with a couple of turns. I pretend it was an internal revolution.

10 Sep 18 UTC	Autumn, 2007: Is it just me or are you being a sore loser. You're losing and you're trying to gain support from who? California? He's attacking you. Florida is already tied up in fighting Quebec.
10 Sep 18 UTC	Autumn, 2007: Seriously? This is diplomacy, negotiation is part of the game. I have lost plenty, no big deal. But Quebec is at 15 and you are at 10. A seven attacking an 8 in that situation is bad math.
