10 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: Apologies for my NRM. Won't happen again.
11 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: Given that I’ve been held up a few times now i am far behind. But I am in position to attack England as you need. With that in mind, are you open to letting me take Paris first then I would move on lyon. You’ve made good progress on italy and will probably end up capturing more SCs there.
13 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 1999: I'll keep it in mind...
15 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: GameMaster: Namejeff was banned: repeated meta. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
15 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Do we know what country Namejeff was playing?
15 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Never mind. I see it was Italy.
16 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: What does that mean? Repeated missing turns?
16 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: It’d be more impressive if the Egyptians weren’t in Naples and the Spanish in Rome
16 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Meta-gaming is when players try to get other players to make moves in response to rewards or threats that take place outside their game. An example would be if you and I were playing in more than one game, and I promised to do something for you in game in A in exchange for your doing something for me in game B. I would also be metagaming if we knew each other in real life and I offered to pay you to make a certain move.
16 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Ah ok so he contacted somebody outside the game and offered something?
16 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Ohh. Wow. That’s a deep level of playing. Plus it’s shady. How did he even get caught for such a thing?
17 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: He could have sent press to somebody offering to do a tit for tat in another game. If so that would explain how the mods caught him. But I'm just speculating.
24 Jul 18 UTC Egypt, Poland and I are ready for draw. Unless you have other plans?
24 Jul 18 UTC Good game everyone. Thank you Spain and Ukraine for your support!
