Autumn, 2003: We need to stop maligning ppl who take over civil disorders. They are an essential function of this site so idle factions dont end up favoring the closest neighbor. On top of that, they should not be maligned for potentially benefitting from the pot because A) they are usually entering into situations of varying disadvantages, B) they are now part of the game in place of the player who forfeited his commitment and portion, C) they are helping the game as mentioned, and D) they just want to have fun. Thus, I find the "you came late" excuse for animosities and, even worse, backstabbings declared "allies" irrational at best and weak covers for cowardly treachery at worst. |
