30 Apr 18 UTC good game

I wish Greece had been more willing to stop you.
30 Apr 18 UTC I didn't come in last place!
30 Apr 18 UTC Good game! Ouch, Rome fell quickly! I wonder whether I should have attacked Carthage earlier, but I think I really did not get a chance to balance him. Well played alqz.
01 May 18 UTC Thanks! Good game guys!

I was worried about Rome at the beginning since it seemed like Greece was struggling, letting Rome pick up some easy centers, and so I just focused all my efforts on moving into Rome. Rome also seemed like the biggest problem for me if I wanted to expand. It worked out that Egypt offered an alliance; this was actually my first time playing gunboat, and I wasn't even aware you could form alliances in gunboat! Learned a valuable lesson there...

I got lucky a few times: namely Spring, 3 Gaul and Autumn, 5 Rhaetia. On the other hand Egypt made two stunning guesses in a row support holding Alexandria and then Thebes from Sinai in the last two turns!
01 May 18 UTC Those were not guesses. I looked inside your mind ;)
01 May 18 UTC Yeah I had some luck there.
