09 Apr 18 UTC Spring, 1901: VATICAN CITY - In the Pope Matthew XIII's yearly state of the world address, the Pope quoted from the infamous Rodney King, "Can't we all just get along". The Pope has stated that, in the interest of world peace, he has already voted draw, and encourages all to do so. In addition, the Pope has offered pizza and eternal salvation to all who join him. He also stated his wishes that Italy be treated as a neutral country and left out of all the world's current strife.
10 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: MOSCOW, VATICAN CITY - In a reaction to Pope Matthew XIII´s state of the world address, Tsar Nicolas, even if not a follower of the Roman Catholic Church recognises the Italian neutrality. In a speech he made clear, that the Russian people have no intend, to go to war with neutral, civil countries, like Italy. Nevertheless me made clear, that he knows, that the Pope isn´t the political head of Italy and hopes that King Victor Immanuel III will openly confirm Italies neutrality. "Until the rightfull King hasn´t proclaimed the [...] neutrality of his country, the popes words will have no value to any reasonable ruler."
10 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: LONDON,VATICAN CITY - In a rare reaction to the statement of his cousin Tsar Nicholas of Russia
King Edward VI of England stated as defender of the faith in the United Kingdoms he wholeheartedly supported his Holiness the Pope in his quest for World peace AND free pizza, whatever the flavour !
While accepting his gracious Majesties Tsar Nicholas decision not to go to war with neutral countries ,the British people would never forgive their Monarch if any other Nation should threaten the Sovereignty of the Vatican City
To this end British forces are now deploying and sending in gunboats to help preserve the Pope and the faith AND free Pizza !
Rule Britannia !
Edward VI King of England
11 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: CONSTANTINOPLE, OTTOMAN EMPIRE - The ambassador from the great Ottoman Empire expressed his desire to share a message from His Radiance Sultan Abdul Hamid II to the other leaders of the Western World. The Sultan has expressed his alarm at the heathen coalition against him and the threat it presents to his people. He is utterly shocked at the audacity of the Russian monarch puppet, and believes he should be punished justly. He is equally surprised by the Austrian people, once believing them to be very weak. Rather than allow them to not be completely destroyed by the prowess of the Ottoman Empire, he extends a hand of friendship and offers a pardon to all, as soon as they agree to accept him as liege. Finally, he implores the other leaders of the West to band together, lest Russia and Austria get too powerful and end up killing the rest of you once the great Ottoman Empire is gone. If this means eating pizza with King Edward VI and Pope Matthew XIII and accepting Christianity as a peaceful, loving religion, the Sultan would gladly accept. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to the day when you are all loyal subjects to the Ottoman Empire.

12 Apr 18 UTC Spring, 1902: VATICAN CITY - In his yearly State of the World address, the Pope expressed his desire for every nation to “end this bloody conflict” and press draw. “There were many fatherless families this Christmas” he added. He also expressed his deepest sympathies for such beleaguered nations, England and Turkey, but reiterated his desire to remain neutral. Undisclosed sources close to the Pope, said that privately the Pope has hinted that “they shouldn’t have turned from Catholicism to begin with”. “King Henry starting his own religion just because the girl couldn’t produce a son, gimme a break, leave that for the Mormons”. Publicly he refused comment on Turkey fearing terrorist reprisals from the Islamic nation. He also shot back at the Czar stating, “He’s worried about my influence on the King but what about that crackpot, Rasputin?” The Pope declined comment when asked about if Rasputin had been his wingman for setting him up with girls, or maybe even boys, of the evening. The Pope also asked that, “The church needs money, and who is willing to give.” “ The church needs to expand.” Sources close to the King say he publicly, and privately, supports the Pope. The Pope condemned the obviously aggressive Wiemar Republic but noted “all would be forgiven “ if a donation was made to the church. The Pope ended his address to a rousing ovation and nearly unanimous decision to remain neutral in this ugly global crisis.
13 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1902: CONSTANTINOPLE, OTTOMAN EMPIRE - The ambassador from the great Ottoman Empire expressed his desire to share another message from His Radiance Sultan Abdul Hamid II to the other leaders of the Western World. He is utterly shocked by the Pope's Holy War that he has created against the unstoppable tide of Islam. The Pope has been overheard, saying "Islam means submission. Now let's make them submit to our will." The Sultan expresses his desire to find a friend somewhere in the West that is not out for his blood and will pay a handsome price. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to the day when you are all loyal subjects to the Ottoman Empire.

13 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1902: VATICAN CITY – When asked about the recent presence of Italian navy in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Pope responded, “The King has assured me that it was merely a naval training exercise.” “Anybody that’s ever owned a boat knows you have to run them every so often or they’ll freeze up” When asked about Turkey’s belligerent statements , he responded, “What do those people know, they worship a rock” He concluded by reiterating that he only wants peace.
14 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1902: LONDON - The First Lord of the Admiralty responded to the movement of the Italian Navy
Great Scott Sir !
Of course the British people support the Italian Navies right that it be able to travel unhindered on international waters
I mean what on earth would happen if His Majesties Government couldn´t send a gun boat diplomatic relations with the rest of the World would fail !
It would be Chaos for us !
First Lord of the Admiralty Hugh Childers
14 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1902: ROME – When questioned about recent developments in the Mediterranean, the King responded, “As I told you before, it was merely a NTE, Naval Training Exercise.” Military Intelligence described the exercise as a ploy to gather info. Sources close to the King said, “Although he briefly contemplated the action, he ultimately decided to adhere to the country’s wish of neutrality.” It has been rumored that the King was a little concerned about Russia’s greed, and didn’t wish, “to get blood on his hands and not share in the spoils.” Anonymous sources quoted the King as saying, “Greedy bastard didn’t even offer Italy a share.”
15 Apr 18 UTC Spring, 1903: VATICAN CITY - In his yearly State of the World address, Pope Matthew XIII reiterated his desire for every nation to “end this senseless, tragic war and press draw”. He prayed for, “Our Heavenly Father to assuage the anguish of our bereavement, and leave us only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that be ours, for having paid such a costly price, at the altar of freedom.” When asked about reports that the King had been offered, by the Czar, to join in the demise of the Ottomans, the Pope responded, “Actions speak louder than words my son”. “As usual, people always want help from the church, but when the collection plate comes around, nothing.” The Pope seemed more than a little concerned with the Wiemar Republic’s expansion to “the very doorsteps of Venice”, and pleaded with all nations to “rally around the church”. The Pope ended his address blessing the ever growing masses.
15 Apr 18 UTC Spring, 1903: ZURICH – In an impromptu interview, President Hoffman expressed his views on the current global crisis. “A draw is a win.” “If everybody draws right now we have 7 winners.” “There is an 85% chance the war will end in a draw anyway. Does it really matter how many countries are involved?” “Does anyone truly dislike their neighbor that much?” He also laid great praise on England for joining the cause, and on the Pope for his efforts in this global movement for peace.
15 Apr 18 UTC Spring, 1903: VATICAN CITY – Pope Matthew XIII’s global peace movement is gaining momentum. When informed of France and Turkey’s recent votes for draw, the Pope responded, “Oh, I've been smiling lately, dreaming about the world as one. And I believe it could be, someday it's going to come.” He urged those already on board to persuade his neighbor to “lay down his arms”. He urged those not on board to, “Love Thy Neighbor” and join in this unprecedented movement for world peace. “Ride on the Peace Train!”
16 Apr 18 UTC Spring, 1903: VATICAN CITY – Pope Matthew XIII awoke this morning to news that Austria had joined his world peace movement. “I’m extremely ecstatic that the movement now has five members” “Now is the time for Germany and Russia to lay down their arms and come to the table.” “Another day goes by, and still the children cry, Put a little love in your heart!” He urged the King of England to persuade his cousins to end “this foolishness”, and vote draw.
17 Apr 18 UTC VATICAN CITY – Pope Matthew, upon returning from a recent business trip, rejoiced at the news Germany had joined the cause. He urged all nations to cease fighting amongst ourselves and force Russia to the table.
18 Apr 18 UTC MOSCOW - After the early loss of some of the newly gained Territory, the Russian Ministry of War saw itself unable maintaining the troops for two wars. Fearing for their homeland and also their personal power, the military forces the Tsar to flee into exile and took over the Government.
First action of the new "Military Council of Russia" was joining Pope Matthews peace movement.
With Generals replacing Russian politicians the peace sure is unstable, but for now the fighting has stopped.
18 Apr 18 UTC Good Game, everyone! I really screwed my relationship in the North up :)
18 Apr 18 UTC VATICAN CITY - Pope Matthew XII received the Noble Prize for Peace today for his contributions to ending the Great War. "Ride the Peace Train." "Thanks to all the people who helped make this possible."
