12 Feb 18 UTC Spring, 1902: Still a lot of game to be played. No expectation of winning, but it seems unfair to the powers that don't border Austria to just give up.
13 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1902: My only move is to go back to Trieste at this point. I will take any support offered.
13 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1902: I can offer Serbia in support, but I think you may need 1 more of Russia or Germany
19 Feb 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Turkey is a liar, he says peace and attacks.
19 Feb 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Well, it wouldn't make very much sense for him to say war and then not attack would it?
19 Feb 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Autumn, 1903: Okay. I will retreat from Armenia as a gesture and sail west to deal with Italy
Sun 11 AM Autumn, 1903: Great
Sun 06 PM I suggest a 3 way draw with you, me and a third nation.
Thanks for moving back to moving back from Armenia.
19 Feb 18 UTC Spring, 1904: To all: Some might think I would try to win solo, but this isn't true. My goal is a 3 way draw without Turkey. I think we should work together, France. At the moment I am not sure, whether England or Italy continue to play, but one of them should be the third nation.
19 Feb 18 UTC Spring, 1904: I will declare war to everybody who works together with Turkey.
19 Feb 18 UTC Spring, 1904: For what it is worth I would have done the same as him. You have most of your units stuck messing up Germany and have a fair number of poorly defending providences.
19 Feb 18 UTC Spring, 1904: I dont like liars, diplomacy is a team game and I do not accept Turkeys behaviour.
As explained, I already offered him an alliance for a 3 way draw. Obviously he denies.
19 Feb 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Well, his only option for peace is retreating from Rumania immediately.
19 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1904: Every single unit that Russia had barring a single fleet was arranged against me, and you had invaded Armenia previously, and invaded Serbia last turn. I had more than enough reason to fear a stab...
19 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1904: And Russia was the first to stab me as we initially worked together.
19 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1904: I joined in Autumn, 1903. When did I stab??
19 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1904: After Budapest-Serbia your intentions were unclear. And you were likely to be on ~12 centers rather easily, surrounding me on most sides, and positioned to solo. But we needn’t spam all of the others - you are clearly aggrieved
23 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Haha, well my tenure here was short :P Figured I’d try just for kicks. gg anyhow!
23 Feb 18 UTC Spring, 1906: Did Italy reply to anybody here?
07 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1910: GG! Played my part :)
07 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1910: gg
now we can draw
07 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1910: GG
07 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1911: "now we can draw" when France has 17 SCs is gutsy for someone of your skill level, Russia :P
07 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1911: To be fair, I did say I would consider it once you were defeated.
07 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1911: I do not think Turkey and Russia can stop France from taking St. Petersburg even if they work together.
08 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1911: We will see :)
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: He has a different plan than what I was thinking so I don’t know any more.
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: What were you thinking?
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: The move to the Baltic sea looks to be to help out Berlin.

I would have held everything except your fleets to the north. Fleet stays in Sweden for now. Fleet Norway moves to Barents Sea, Norwegian Sea convoys that army to Norway, Fleet Clyde moves to Edinburgh.

Now he's got Fleet Finland and Army St. Petes. You have Fleets in Barents, Norwegian Sea, EC, Edinburgh and Sweden, with an Army in Norway.

Barents attacks St. Pete to cut support, Sweden supports army Norway into Finland, Norwegian Sea moves to Norway. Fleet Finland Retreats to Gulf of Bothnia.

Now you Have Fleet Barents Sea, Fleet Norway and Army Finland. I don't know why Turkey fled Livonia, but even if he'd stayed R+T needs to spend at least three armies protecting St. Petes and you have it completely surrounded. And his fleet is stuck in the Gulf of Bothnia.

Meanwhile your fleets in EC and Edinburgh have been moving eastward.

Your endgame looks like this. You have a Fleet in Barents Sea, Norway and Gulf of Bothnia. You have an Army in Finland. With those four units it is impossible for him to hold St. Petersburg. There are just not enough defensive spaces.
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: Most of that is still true. Prussia couldn't be held but I think we're at a stalemate now, plus I get to rebuild as a fleet. Baltic over Bothnia was a wrong guess about where Finland would move, but it still only delays my movements a turn.
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: All fair points. I think you've still got it in the bag. I do like thinking about moves though, it is a lot of fun!
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: I agree, I love when the endgame shifts from diplomacy to tactical maneuvering. :)
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: I agree with all of this analysis, if not necessarily with the eliminated kibitzing of the endgame :)
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: +1
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: The price you pay for the elimination itself :P
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: Who eliminated you, if not France itself?
08 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1911: France wasn’t the one whining about public press.
08 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1912: You must be a genius with such a logic
09 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1912: As evidenced by my stunning victory :) Cheers
12 Mar 18 UTC Good game guys
12 Mar 18 UTC Gg, well played. I was too focused on the armies, needed to make sure that England held in Tunis.
