17 Jan 18 UTC | Autumn, 2001: New Cuba player. Hello everybody. |
17 Jan 18 UTC | Autumn, 2001: Hello! |
07 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2012: Great game everyone. I'll be holding most of my units from here on out. I guess I grew too quickly and scared everyone into a three-way match up versus me. Quebec, I hope you rise above everyone and slay them all. Peru, you're the underdog man stay strong. Heartland, great stab my FRIEND. Mexico, I hope you're next ;) I guess if I had a dying wish it'd be that this game isn't ended by a draw. Someone solo please. Best regards NYC |
07 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2012: Quebec, Heartland and Mexico three way draw I think. |
07 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2012: GG NY |
07 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2012: GG NY |
08 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2013: New York: Good game and sorry about the stab. There is some danger in being the early front runner, and you fell victim to that. If it is any consolation, I am going to try to get you that solo you asked for. ;) |
08 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2013: That was some beautiful work there. Makes me glad I opted to slow Quebec and Mexico when you guys were attacking me. |
08 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2013: haha so salty... |
08 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2013: It's just business. I sell potato chips. Do you have some tears you can spare? I am fresh out. |
08 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2013: I really hope this doesn't turn into a salt throwing match of dead and dying countries. I go peacefully and of good mind. May I learn from my mistakes to improve my strategic prowess |
08 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2013: I have found a couple of times when I am being sacked by coordinated powers, that if you pick one to oppose and the other to let through your territory, the one you are opposing gets nervous and turns on the other. If you’re dying the only option you have is to foster strife. |
08 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2013: But I also like being right and I correctly predicted Heartland would wind up much stronger than Mexico from my collapse. He didn’t have a ton of options, but he wasn’t him a place to capitalize from my death. In another world he should have moved against Heartland then. |
08 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2013: ...sigh....wise words from a dead man. I disagree with you about betraying Heartland then, it would have been the wrong move. But believe whatever you want. If I lose that is fine with me, I will make my own judgement on what I did wrong and how I an improve. |
08 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2013: I'm just surprised i lasted this long. thank you everyone for allying with me and I hope (and doubt) ill make it to the end. thanks for a fun game. |
09 Feb 18 UTC | Autumn, 2013: The absolute credit goes to Heartland. I was not privy to his negotiations, but he set himself up to stab both Mexico and Quebec at the same time. All other plotting aside, it was a fairly masterful stroke. I would certainly be quite proud of it if I had managed to do it myself. Heartland was outnumbered quite significantly by the two powers and still crippled them both in essentially one turn. A jolly good show. |
09 Feb 18 UTC | Spring, 2014: How many TCs to win this game? |
09 Feb 18 UTC | Spring, 2014: 34 it looks like. If New York and Peru continue to oppose him, it’s not a done deal, but Peru is being a little invaded by Mexico. I think he’ll be able to take Quebec out before Mexico can redeploy to counter the stab, which is I think they key. |
09 Feb 18 UTC | Spring, 2014: it's a long shot, some might say it is pointless....but one has to die with dignity..... |
09 Feb 18 UTC | Spring, 2014: Wow there is a lot of stuff going down |
