13 Mar 18 UTC | I knew I had to take out Quebec and get the NE corner of the map. Even with Heartland double crossing me early in Ohio, the chaos in the Great Lakes let me maneuver to take Quebec out. Heartland made a great drive into Philadelphia, but Florida and I took the supply points behind him and it was for naught. In taking out Heartland, Florida really extended into the interior. So when I attacked Florida, I drove straight for Miami, using my Navy. There was nothing his tanks could do. Florida missed a turn, and I saw there were no orders, so I was able to capture 3-4 more points than I should have that quickly, but I think I had them against the wall no matter what. After that, It was a matter of stalling in Alaska while I drove for Dallas via the Gulf Coast. Here, I pressured Peru to stay out of the Atlantic. When Peru moved into the South Caribbean, I stopped supporting him in the Yucatan and moved to take his supply points. Thank you all for a great game. |
