23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Russia suggests ARG
Aus + Fra against Italy
Better chance of going against England, but will declare war if I build 2 fleets, but France will build Fleet in Brest if I do
Italy is going through France
Turkey: ? Allied with Russia?
Austria: trustworthy. I agreed to help them.
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Sorry, meant to write down future diplomatic suggestions in notes, but instead used global; not unintentional, an embarrassing mistake. Apologies.
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: so
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: just
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: otherwise

23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Dear diary,
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Totally deserved jab :-(
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: It’s a chance to laugh. We often take this game too seriously.
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Too true
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: This is why I never use the notes tab
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: It was my first time using it! Never again. Had a couple simul games going, was tired of re-assessing each time I checked in
27 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1903: On holiday with the family, so going to be slow playing a little. Sorry for the slow readys.
28 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1903: GameMaster: from the top bunk was banned: Multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
28 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Who was he multi with? :-)
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Italy quit?
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Not quit, kicked, I think?
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Turkey was kicked.
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1903: New turkey it looks like.
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1903: And i took his place
29 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: 3 on 1. Really? :-)
01 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Moooooore fleeeets!
06 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Dear notes section,
I think my comeback is imminent. Austria still seems trustworthy.
06 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Oh no, I did it again.
06 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: I enjoyed that. Appreciate the good humour.
07 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1906: Ethical question: In another game, I've been reduced to just a few SCs, whereas one country has grown to 12-14 and the rest are allying to prevent them from grabbing the last few SCs to win. I can't reach a conventional victory by any choice of action; the alliance will crush me if they stop the largest country from reaching 18. At the same time, one of the allied countries has just been ridiculously annoying and antagonistic for the whole match. Given that I can't win but could attack this player enough to disrupt their efforts against the largest country, for not much reason other than petty spite and not sitting idly by, is it actually unethical or contrary to the spirit of the game to do so, since my moves aren't intended to give myself or an ally a victory?
08 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1906: I see no issue at all. If I’m included in a draw, I’ll do my part. If I’m going to be eliminated, I will make life hard for the country wronged me. Ideally you should be able to use the king maker power to leverage yourself into the draw though.
08 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1906: I concur with Russia - use whatever leverage you have to find a spot in the draw and be willing to follow through with whatever you use to get a piece of it. If it winds up in a solo then the others were foolish to not include you in the draw.
08 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1906: Thanks for the input!
09 Jan 18 UTC Ready to draw?
09 Jan 18 UTC My draw is up.
09 Jan 18 UTC Well played all - it was a fun game!
09 Jan 18 UTC Good game, all
09 Jan 18 UTC Good game
09 Jan 18 UTC As a tip, I was totally considering supporting Bulgaria into Rumania and taking Bulgaria with Constantinople. Don’t be too predictable.
09 Jan 18 UTC Thanks - I appreciate it. Hadn't thought about the possibility that you would do that.
