05 Dec 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: Honorable Texas, I asketh thee. Doth thou intend to bring sorrow to the south? |

05 Dec 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: i would like to point out to the Honorable Representative of Texas that, unfortunately circumstances require that the mexican military move north to reclaim durango, chihuahua, and nuevo leon, as it seams they have fallen to rebellion. However, as the mexican Representative, i can assure you that they will not cross the Texas boarder. i hope that you can understand, that we do this not out of malice, but out of the necessity of survival. as any forays south at this time are sure to be lengthy and provide sup-optimal returns. jrg ffn ovkl dx? |
05 Dec 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: I would encourage the honorable Mexican representative to find lands further south, as possession of nuevo leon (situated next to San Antonio while not bordering any Mexican city) by the Mexican state would pose a grave threat to the security of the Kingdom of Texas. This is not motivated by a desire for territorial aggrandizement but instead for achieving our basic security needs. We hope that Mexico can refrain from seizing this territory in the name of ensuring good relations with our kingdom. No further incursions south will be made by the Kingdom of Texas once this territory is secured. Furthermore, mexico is free to secure the states of chihuaha and durango without Texan interference. A prompt response to this request in the affirmative will ensure our good will and future cooperation. |
05 Dec 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: Honorable Representative of Texas. I have heard your case and presented it to the king of mexico. they Have considered your Request for the mexican armies to avoid the nuevo leon and has decided not to move into the Territory. the hope that this gesture of good will, shall be considered as the kingdoms of new america transmute into empires. |
