14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Austria!
14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Lads, we have one or two new players. Please allow questions regarding moves, defence, etcetera to be asked in the global chat, the stipulation of which is this:

Use general examples that do not give away your plans.

Also: no in-game politics, shout outs, or revealed secrets in the global chat. That's nasty business.

Welcome. Let's have fun.
14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Where do I put in my credit card number to win?
14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Then god’s are laid in mead.
14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Gods are paid in mead.
16 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Come on people... there is no reason to hold up the game during builds.....
16 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yeah, Austria. Ready your bloody moves for crying out loud.
16 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yeah, Austria. Ready your bloody moves for crying out loud.
17 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: The truest test is coming.. The first weekend the game must endure.
17 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1902: Sorry for not being ready.
17 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1902: England is fighting a civil war.
17 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1902: Like
21 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Manson is dead.
21 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Time for WWIII gents
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I have no clue what's going on in northern Europe.
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: i guess they try to get a rainbow Color on the map... but yellow is still missing =)
25 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Austria and Turkey have the most abusive relationship I have seen in years.
25 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Maybe they are playing the cat and mouse game to confuse everybody else!?
26 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Germany and Britain are killing me! Input your moves!
26 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: The night is dark and full of terrors.
26 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Newbie Britain made a Brexit :)
27 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Fools should have listened when I said Austria and France were the two true threats!
27 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: England: no one is a threat until someone goes awol. Germany collapsed because everyonebstabbed them. You collapsed for other reasons and allowed France to get free power. France is a great player but this map should be different.
27 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Any good reasons to pause? Think it is really hard to get the game going again...
27 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Not sure why but I assume there is a good reason. Does that name me an ass?
27 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Are we pausing?
27 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: I only proposed so, but with the decimation of Germany and the eventual fall of England, it's hard to try to reseat this game...
28 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: That would be cancel, not pause.
28 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Honestly, it sucks, but i think it's too late to cancel the game. Let's play it out.
28 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'm happy to call for a draw if people are interested. Start a new game fresh.
28 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: I mean, a draw would be a positive turn of events for Italy.... I'm good with whatever. Happy to take this one on the chin. I was coming up with ass kicking puns from the boot of Italy that I can't use anymore.
28 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: If we drew and restarted, that might make the game more balanced if Germany and England are interested in continuing on now that they've seen their early blunders.
28 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Well if everyone wants a draw I’m good. It just sucks.
28 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1905: Draw is good.
28 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1905: Make friends. Backstab lots. Be aggressive. Because your position will almost always have a gap.
29 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Yeah, I did everything I was supposed to...fool ass Germany backstabbed me, his only viable ally! :P
29 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Well, politics wise anyways...my movement and development was definitely amateurish.
29 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Turkey and Russia are fools for fighting! Very sad!
29 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: There was never anything I could do about France, he/she had like three free supply centers in Spain...
29 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: As England, grabbing Norway in the first year is a must.
29 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Also, don't be afraid to jockey for Belgium
30 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Also, having said all that, it is not a bad idea to look up strategies for the opening moves of any country you play as. Should give you some ideas of how to start (England should get Norway; Italy should get Tunis; Russia/ Turkey should not give up the Black sea; etc.)
30 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: How did Germany backstab you? Man, you were fighting a civil war and Germany got picked on by everyone. Diplomacy is a really balanced game. If one power falls everyone around can gain. England are the moderator for the entire north of the map.
