10 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello all. Good luck!
11 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: england! Maybe you can explain to the others what happened to "I don't want war with France" and "I'll move to the Norwegian sea." You came yo me for peace but sent all your forces at me.
12 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: You say as you move to the channel.

Sorry for the nmr. That being said, I've hit cancel and draw due to Russia and Italy not showing up at all
12 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: my intentions were honorable as is obvious by the blatant lack of offensive support near the channel. my aim was for belgium and to safeguard against the very back-stab you have committed. you have stacked all of your forces specifically against me. there is no possible excuse for the series of moves you have chosen other than to attack france.
12 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Would those that are here confirm, if France moved a fleet into the channel, would you consider that an act of war against England?
12 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Dear Leaders,
The intentions of France are clearly explained. I do not consider this as an act of war against England.

12 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm with Italy, you told him you were going somewhere else and lied about it. It looks like Italy is here but could the reason you want to draw be that you missed a round and have nothing you can build? Since Italy is here I am happy to play 1 man down. It's too hard to get a 100% game.
14 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: No, I generally offer to cancel if theres multiple NMRs on turn 1. If people don't want to that's fine and there's nothing I can do about it anyway.

Also, I am not asking if France's moves following my move to the English Channel are an act of war. I definitely lied to him. I don't dispute that. My question to players is whether, if you were playing England, you would consider a move by France to the English Channel without warning an act of aggression. He claims he did so to take Belgium. I think that is ludicrous and a move no experienced French player would move because the amount of antagonization of England isn't worth it.

Of course, if France expected a move by England to the Channel, then it is a good move, but that's not the question.
14 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Did France say he wasn't going into the channel? Because it sounds like you are the untrustworthy one offering to go one way, then when you're caught as a liar trying to deflect and blame France.
14 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: You see, you're trying to paint me as untrustworthy. You don't need to. I'm admitting it. I one hundred percent lied about my moves.
14 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: France is within striking distance of Liverpool and I can't defend it. I'm not being coy or subtle anymore lmao
14 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: He is within striking distance of Liverpool, and I think he should try taking it. You declared war on him by lying to him, do you think we're going to step in and save you?
14 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: as it happens this is only my second game. some friends invited me to play and it seems like fun. so maybe I should have moved differently? I'm strategizing best I can as a newbie.
14 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: France, by all means you're doing well. Like Turkey said, you should absolutely take Liverpool. That's nothing I can do to prevent it, and the best I can do is gain an SC to counteract the loss. That being said, and this is honest advice, a move to the English Channel by France or England is generally a very hostile move. A bounce is sometimes agreed upon in order to prevent either gaining the advantage over the other. Obviously you moved there with good intentions to take Belgium. I moved there because I intended to attack you. I don't know why Turkey thinks I'm trying to get someone to help me. I'm not. I'm the bad guy here lol.

I was just trying to get the game board to agree that a French move to the English Channel will almost never be seen as an ambivalent move and will generally turn England against you, regardless of previous agreements.
14 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Dear Leaders,
England caught in yet another lie. You were not asking anyone for help? What about that letter you sent me, asking me to participate in Western affairs? Liars should be eliminated.

Lodovico Pacelli
14 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: The Pope has spoken, let there be a crusade on England!!
15 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: That was before the first move bro, which you didn't show up for
18 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: The English problem has been resolved
18 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: A successful crusade. Thank you Germany and France.
19 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1904: France, look out. There's going to be army in Burgundy very soon
19 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1904: France, you need to get a better hold on your political prisoners.
23 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Because Italy has been so true to me this far, I will call for a draw, if you guys want I will do a 4 way draw.
23 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: He lied to me
23 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: I fell asleep last night but meant to put in a draw vote. We can all go home winners.
24 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1906: Dear Leaders,
Perhaps you all consider that we resolve everything peacefully. We all have not been entirely honest with each other. We all made mistakes. We could end this with a draw. There is no need for more bloodshed.

I eagerly await your responses and hope that we all sign a peace treaty.

Lodovico Pacelli
25 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1906: Tell me where did I lie?
25 Nov 17 UTC Good game, though I think I could have taken Germany
25 Nov 17 UTC In your dreams
You can't get through the north
25 Nov 17 UTC But your home territories were toast. Then I'd have had to start working on France until he moved fleets against you for a joint victory with him. France had one move he could have made to kill itally in a couple turns
25 Nov 17 UTC Norway supports St Pet
Unbreakable for Turkey
25 Nov 17 UTC And with armies in Kiel, Ruhr, Mun and Berlin and a fleet in Baltic, Getmany is unbreakablr too.
Only with French help you could break it. Chrck stalematelines diplomacy on the internet
25 Nov 17 UTC Fair enough this is my 2nd game I'd only planned up to there. If France took the ionian I was toast, but luckily that didn't happen.
25 Nov 17 UTC good game friends
26 Nov 17 UTC Good game!
