09 Oct 17 UTC | Autumn, 3: Attention nations of the world, attention. The Persian Empire declares neutrality in the affairs of the world. No Persian troops shall be found away from their homeland, and any threats to their homeland shall swiftly be removed. Persia, as a nation, wishes to treat with those that survive their conflicts over land, and shall formally ally itself with those that desire peace throughout the Mediterranean. The 9 Supply Depots of Persia are at the disposal of whomever can come to think of those other than themself. Only 9 more are required... Who is brave enough to band together in the name of peace, and cast aside the conflicts over land that plagued our ancestors? |
14 Oct 17 UTC | Spring, 7: Attention world, The warmonger that is Rome must be contained! Egypt has taken the cause to bring peace to all nations by crushing these heathens! |
14 Oct 17 UTC | Autumn, 7: If you believe your claims to be true, how can you so blatantly ignore the suffering you caused to their fellow nation! You say we are warmongers that must be stopped! Look at yourself and the suffering you caused to Carthage! How can you say such things yet go back to destroy a nation yourself? While I may be in conflict for them for different reasons, you can't say yourself without cause!!!! |
14 Oct 17 UTC | Autumn, 7: The Egyptian people hold the Carthaginians with much respect, we are merely cutting a path to fight the horrible dictator or Rome! |
14 Oct 17 UTC | Autumn, 7: Ok |
17 Oct 17 UTC | Autumn, 10: It is with a heavy heart that the Mighty Persian Empire must declare that, as of the Spring of this upcoming year, its neutrality will come to an end. Fear not, for Persia's wrath shall only come booming down on the wicked, and those that strain to survive, those already under the foot of a tyrant... Prepare for salvation. |
19 Oct 17 UTC | Autumn, 11: You nations of the Mediterranean, you all seek the destruction of Rome as you claim it is the source of all strife in the lands. You all claim my destruction but you all have ignored or even feigned ignorance of the fact among each other, "What will you do after Rome is gone?" If you all truly wish, you could formally create a pact of everlasting peace, and as a result, bring my empire to it's knees instantly. Yet here we are, the combined fleets or Egypt, Greece, and Persia are attempting to break the wood wall of the eastern Mediterranean. Persian and Greek troops are endlessly pounding on my fortified positions yet you all seem to not really care about defeating Rome. Why? I believe I know why. If it's not the complete ignorance of every one of you lessor nations who haven't even brought up the idea of unifying as one to bring upon my downfall, than it must be plots and plans you have to back-stab each other after my downfall. How could you all fight under the banner of peace when you haven't even taken steps towards it? It's because you are all liars. As long as Rome persists, it is a testament to the fact that you all will betray each other in the end, further bringing disasters and strife to every people and person who inhabits these lands. Until then, we the Roman people will simply continue OUR quest of peace forever, bringing order and tranquility to all those under our banner. Do not believe this is our only method If you all truly wish for peace, The Roman is willing to end the strife between all our nations and formally end this conflict one and for all, releasing the Greekish cores back to her nations and every other occupied lands. This will only occur if you all wish for a formal peace that will last the ends of time. Make your decisions at your own risk. (You all combined have more than enough points to win an alliance victory. Seeing how you all have yet to do so, it means at-least one of you will turn on the others. It can't mean anything else). |
19 Oct 17 UTC | Autumn, 11: It is the Persian perspective that peace will be achieved through cooperation. Rome beheaded Greece, and gutted Carthage. This does not mean peace cannot be achieved. Rather, it merely means that conflict breeds brotherhood. Egypt and Carthage, Persia and Greece... They have allied themselves! To slay Rome! However... Bloodshed is not the reason for this conflict. No... This conflict is to end mass war. To end bloodshed. Persia's neutrality should have shown this. It is of the Persian opinion that ALL nations must be spared, even should they be malicious. It is of the Persian opinion ALL nations must be able to negotiate, even if they have nothing to give. It is of the Persian opinion that ALL nations must be able to cooperate, even if once foes. This is a formal declaration from the Mighty Persian Empire- If you wish peace, you need merely ask. Any who directly contact the Mighty Persian Empire, asking for peace, shall gain it. Persia's only involvement in this war has been the support of Greece's very survival, and distractions to the north of Rome, diverting resources from the Roman-Greek border. We wish to protect those that cannot protect themselves, and the sacking of Rome seemed to be the only available option. But if people of ALL nations, whether they be Roman, Persian, Greek, Carthaginian, Egyptian... If the people of the Mediterranean band together, and UNITED end this conflict... This shall be a victory, not just for a nation, but for our very race. |
19 Oct 17 UTC | Autumn, 11: (I basically am the host for the United Nations in a Civ game, at this point) |
19 Oct 17 UTC | Autumn, 11: If what you say is true than Rome would happily accept. We of the Roman Empire would gladly return the cores lost if it will bring peace among all us fellow nations. For us to end this conflict, we must now formally end this war. (We can end the game with a draw, ending all wars and everyone wins. If you want to end the game with the draw, click the "Draw" vote button at the bottom nation statistics page.) |
19 Oct 17 UTC | Autumn, 11: (It also says who is voting for the draw). |
20 Oct 17 UTC | Spring, 12: We still wait for our fellow nations to come to the table for peace. As of now, only Rome and Carthage has proposed the peace of all nations. We still wait for Egypt, Greece, and you, Persia the head of this alliance! |
20 Oct 17 UTC | Spring, 12: There will not be peace between Egypt and the northern barbarians! |
