29 Aug 17 UTC Spring, 1901: ah man. Why Italy
29 Aug 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Enjoy everyone - and remember - build no fleets!
31 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: England, you sly dog...
31 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Nice diplomacy there Brit!

02 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Not everyone. I think Italy stayed neutral.
02 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Nope: anti-France means pro-England, thus...
02 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well, Italy did cut Bulgaria, which didn't matter, but could have if Austria had helped attack Rumania.
05 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1903: We should work on EFG altoghether...

I move eng south, you move nth to nwg to keep on feeding Russia with armies as soon as you're comfortable to do so.
05 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1903: doh
06 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: That's alright - happens to all of us, switching to that private channel now.

16 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: LOL your complianing ??
19 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Alf weeder sane...as they say in Turkey...
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Wasted game here - one of you could have worked towards an actual win, but nope, boring draw outcome - no guts in this game.
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Syria and Livonia should unite I agree
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: I feel like that's a little unfair. We've left each of you at least one little patch to call your own! We're all part of the draw here...
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Draw - dull
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: I disagree. A draw like this shows exceptional forbearance and trust - you don't come by that a lot in this game.

Anyway, you're just jealous you're not part of it ;)

And, actually, it's not drawn yet. There's still time...
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: It's army builds only - that makes it easy to draw, hard to win. Only limited trust is needed. And while there is "still time" no one has enough fleets to win on their own now - that opportunity was blown - the only way to achieve it was through getting a vassal to help you. It's a draw, yawn.
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: If you can be convinced into acting as someone else's vassal, in order to secure them a solo, then this game isn't for you.

But you're right, this will be a draw. I wasn't really suggesting that someone might take a solo from here.
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Though I still think Austria might be in with a shot...
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: I would have helped you solo, just to spite Germany, and knowing my other option was a "defeat" and I could at least get a "survive." I still think there is room for helping others solo in a game when faced with a defeat alternative.
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Well I disagree there. The way I see it, you play to win. And if you genuinely do not believe you can win then you play to draw. You never play to have someone else win - but maybe that's just me...

Also, I'm Germany. So I doubt you'd have helped me just to spite me ;)
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Was talking to Russia there, not Germany. I had zero chance to win as I was getting wiped out, and no chance to draw, or maybe a limited chance if I could get another player to keep me around to help that player solo. You definitely play to help someone else solo if your only other option is elimination - there is no chance to survive or have a shot at a draw otherwise.
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: No one here played to win, or one of you would have wanted to keep me alive for help to have a shot at it. All of you just played for a draw - that's disappointing.
23 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Slypups, all of us three knew you made the same offer to the other two. So keeping you alive was a problem, since you became a source of mistrust, while we had other fronts to worry and needed each other working together.
23 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Hmm. Im next eh? :\
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1908: Sure I made the same offer, and I would have held to whichever of you would have accepted it, but none did. And now, I don't see how this ends in something other than a draw. A win is now impossible unless someone plays stupidly.
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1908: I think a win was impossible in any case. An effective puppet power means naval power, and it means a supply in land sustaining a unit in the front. The puppet power would not last for more than a year, maybe two with luck and spending resources to keep it empty, and then the extra fleet would be gone. Draw.
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1908: get your fithly hands off my desert.. ( Purple FFllooyydd......)
27 Sep 17 UTC Gg friends :)
27 Sep 17 UTC How disappointingly bland a result. Very small minded to just play for a draw from early on. I get playing for a draw in a regular game, but a draw is almost a foregone conclusion in this game, so the challenge is to win it. Just draw now - no one can win thanks to weak-kneed play.
27 Sep 17 UTC This is very acceptable in France, after Spring'02 I faced enemies in all E, G, I. A pact for a three way draw was a good option by the time. It took two years negotiating to guarantee my share, much better than an elimination, the only result possible with England anf Germany as allies. I made the correct decision and it is not care bear because this is army buids only. The variant is carebear, not the players.
27 Sep 17 UTC England you brought lots of pressure to me and france in the past. We did not decided for a draw so early as you may think. We did it at that point when to all of us it was clear that a solo is very unpropable. So please stop complaining.

was a nice game.
27 Sep 17 UTC France I get - a draw was really his only option. It's Russia I'm most disappointed in. If he had taken my offer of help, he would have had a legitimate chance to win.
