23 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: Ooohh - nasty threat. Big loser technique - so impressed. Games go for years here. We're playing multiple games. You think waiting 18 hours between turns matters at all?
23 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: we just take note of your player name after the game and place it on our list of:

"Assholes we will not play with again"
23 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: oh, we already see your name. on the list!

I love my AWWNPWA list
23 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: I’m cool with that.
23 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: great!
23 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: you guys should learn to grow up and cancel games that aren't fun....
You are either on this site to have fun or play competitive and this isn't fun nor competitive......

The only reason to continue would be for the points, which is just sad...........

Saying to people that you think they are assholes isn't very kind nor adult like either
23 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: Both England and Germany should have been trying to make deals with both of us. And meanwhile, resisting with your armed forces to the maximum of your abilities. That's what good diplomacy players do, fight their enemies, while constantly trying to negotiate. Often it works. Lying down and giving up only encourages your enemies to keep attacking.
23 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: We are not lying down, we are asking if we can please just draw or cancel because this isn't fun, nor balanced, nor exciting, nor diplomatic
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: The only reason it is not competitive is because you're not even trying to fight back or negotiate something through diplomacy not because Turkey or I did anything fancy. A combined English/German/Italian defense might have done something, although probably too late now. If either Germany or England were better sports and tried, one of you probably would have been part of a three-way draw. Maybe that's still possible, but this sore loser style of play doesn't particularly encourage such a finish.

Based on your theory, Germany, as soon as a player advances to a dominant position, all games should be cancelled. That's ridiculous. Maybe some private games go this way, but that's the only place I've seen it. In other games, there is often negotiating to the end to get a survive, or to be part of a final draw where two players are uncomfortable trying to achieve that 50-50 split.
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: did you even read my theory???? because you clearly didn't understand a single word of it.............
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: Sure I read your theory "Games that aren't fun because I am losing should be cancelled." Great theory.
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: Again, same question: did you even read my theory???? because you clearly didn't understand a single word of it............
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: Look you are being disingenuous when you say we haven’t tried to be “diplomatic “. This game has had too many irregularities to be fun. I am the only original player left which tells you something. You win. Let’s move on.
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: @Germany - if that's the case, and I could not figure our your theory from your mumblings, then continuing to not state your theory more clearly and explicitly isn't particularly effective.
@England - I'm trying to move on and finish the game, but you're the one failing to move on by slowing it down and refusing to enter orders.
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: let him refuse, he'll get replaced. look at his reliability rating....
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: he's been playing on this website for 7 years and is still a political puppet. hmmmm....

He's finished 204 games and has only 95 points. Statistically, he'd play better by throwing random darts at the map to determine his moves.
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: he won't get replaced because nobody will be stupid enough to join this dump
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: oh sure he will, lots of people take on zero bets mercy positions.
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: with england and 2 sc's ? hahahaha
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: yes, people do it all the time.
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: unlike you that looks for free places for points as a replacement, then gives up when it doesn't pan out. Many replace just to honor the spirit of the game, unlike you.
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: i joined this game to make it more fun for everyone... then i realised this game is fucked and there are 2 dickheads and i other guy left.
So excuse me for not trying my best for your shitty ass
24 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1912: I'm not sure exactly what I did that deserves such profanity from you, Unreal_Expectations. You do know how this game works, right? The object is to use diplomacy and tactics to win or at least be part of a final draw, and that requires attacking and sometimes eliminating other players, and sometimes that fate befall you. Should France use similar profanity with you because you eliminated him?
24 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: How dumb are you ??? I don't care if i win or lose!!!!! That is part of the game!!!

What i do care about is having a fun/enticing game for everyone which just isn't possible with unmature simpletons like you...

You ruined this game for everyone involved and proved that you do so very often by introducing an asshole list, the fact that you need a list for that only means 1 thing : you have a tendency to get into personal conflict with players and the explanation for that can only be found within your own personality
24 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: you good sir are very close to the definition of toxicity within this community and I frankly believe the community would be better of without players that behave like you do
24 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: quit then, bye bye.
24 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: See, no fun....and I love the personal attacks very classy!
24 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: my bowl of popcorn is empty ;( show must go on - i will get more
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: Um. Ok. I don't have such a list. That's Turkey. But I do keep in mind players that are sore losers as ones I want to avoid, and you're showing yourself to be such a player, Unreal_Expectations. Exactly what did I do that "ruined this game for everyone involved"? I also noticed you have yet to explain your mysterious "theory" despite my request that you explain it to me, seeing as I'm so simple-minded as to have missed it the first time.

I'm beginning to feel like you actually have nothing substantive to say, and are just trolling, so if you want to continue to make vague statements about ruining the game and your theories of play without pointing to specific statements or acts, I'm just going to stop responding to you (sorry France to ruin your entertainment if that happens).
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: My theory is simple enough: The goal of the game is to have fun or to be competitive/ get better...

In this particular game: Rise of robot communim (it is actually written that way wtf why????) you do not have a competitive situation because all player left (england stopped playing but didn't leave) nor do you have a fun situation: all the talk about lists, sore losers etc.

So we should simply cancel the game........
The only third option and reason not to cancel would be that someone *cough* youknowwhoIdon'tevenneedtospellitout *cough* cares about in-game currency and rating, this 'hypothetical someone' might have said something about what being a social and ethical player on this site means, this ehm 'hypothetical person or persons' might also know the meaning of the word hypocrite (which I'm starting to doubt more and more).

If all this is, in fact, the case these 'hypothetical being' might come to the conclusion that they are in fact the hypocrites. They might realise that if they weren't here for the simplisticand sad goal of in-game currency they would have quit long ago.
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: if that is too abstract: you and turkey are both hypocrites and only want to continue playing for the easy points/win, so please shut the fuck up about ethics, sore losers, playing for other players, us ruining the game and all that other shit you called me because you know damn well it is just defending your own ass
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: well, depends on your definition of fun, I guess, I personally have an immense of fun goading someone like you into these philosophical rants. It amuses me tremendously, and you play right in and take the bait.
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: So if the goal of the game is to have fun, I am certainly wining that goal!
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: oh no, the game might not be fun, but shitting all over your face is a conscious choice i'm making :)
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: I'm having fun. Turkey's having fun. Just because you showed up a few turns ago and aren't having fun does not mean we should cancel the game.
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: except everyone literally left the game!!!!
NON OF THE ORIGINAL PLAYER ARE STILL HERE

tell me why if it isn't because of fun
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: just play, or don't play, or quit, or stay, or do whatever you want, but stop talking.
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: Nah, as I said before I like talking :)
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: and i will continue to press ready without entering moves :)
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: sounds great.
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: loser
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: Sounds like you're having fun talking/trolling to me
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: Gentlemen, no fighting in the Diplomacy room.
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: lol
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: is murder considered fighting??
25 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: You cannot spell troll without lol.
04 Oct 17 UTC ta da!!

Good game Russia!
04 Oct 17 UTC so glad my expectations were real!
04 Oct 17 UTC Unlike those of Germany ;)
I had to reward all your excellent teamwork and strategic play, Tugster. To stab you in the end after that would have been a disservice in my book.
