10 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Western-Canada]:I only picked up the CD because I was bored over Christmas and now I find I'm having to amend my will so that my children can carry on this bloody game after me.
10 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Near-East]:Just a heads up to PR: If you are going to draw this out for months, then I'm going to withdraw my vote when you are close to elimination. Just to lock you out of your share.

@USA: Everyone is getting 6 points. The draw mode for this game is not supply center based.
10 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Near-East]:That message was meant towards FA. PR is already basically gone.
10 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Kenya]:If neither of them are eliminated we may get 7 each.
10 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2007: [India]:You mean if both?
10 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Kenya]:Yes. I, for some reason, did not check that message before I sent the message. Apologies.
10 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2007: [India]:No problem, just clearing that up.
09 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2008: [Kenya]:Ghana; this has been something I've been planning to do for a while but I'm moving to Southeast Atlantic; fair?
10 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2008: [Kenya]:Europe and Frozen-Antarctica just CD'd!

If anyone joins for them, don't forget to draw and we can tie by the end of August!
10 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Hey everyone! New guy taking over for Frozen Antarctica here. What is this about a draw? Is that what everybody wants?

(I just noticed after joining that this has a 10-day phase length... should have looked closer before pressing join, so I am ok with helping end the game if that's what you prefer).
10 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2008: [Kenya]:Frozen Antarctica,

Welcome. This game has been going on for around a year now (according to accounts). There were two players that needed to draw, and the old FA was one of them. As soon as we knock out Pacific Russia (no units), we can tie and you can earn a free 7 coins.

A ten day phase is extremely difficult to play as it requires a TON of your time.

Hopefully I speak for those that have been in it for so long.
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Europe]:Wow, new Europe here... I clicked draw
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Europe]:Wow, new Europe here... I clicked draw
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Oz]:Well, Pacific Russia may take New South Wales from me. Which would only serve to prolong the game. Darn shame
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Oh, wow! Well, it seems I've just stumbled into a legendary game.

It feels unfair to take anything after you've all been driving it for a year!... (You're also all way out of my league in ranking.) So I'll just move my units out of the way (towards the South Pole) until the draw is reached, and you can repossess Frozen Ant's territories if you wish.

That gives an advantage to the southern nations, but maybe that'd be fair?
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Small correction: "towards the South Pole" should say "towards non-SC regions in the Antarctic". In the case of the fleet in WAus, it'll move to South Australia.
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Correction to the correction: Northern Territory is less threatening than South Australia, so I'll move it there instead.
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Kenya]:I would actually recommend a movement to South Australia because that way you can repel the Pacific Russian Fleet.

Unfortunately, this chat is monitored by Pacific Russia and they refuse to draw with the rest of us... hopefully there will be as few casualties as possible.
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Ah, alright! I'll add "hunt Pacific Russia" to my goals then. :)
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Europe]:Isnt pacific russia dead?
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:This is a good question... It looks like East Siberia was their last territory, just taken by China? They have one more chance at prolonging the game I guess.
10 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [India]:They control an Australian territory are about to take Oz's last SC.
11 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Oz]:Yea... I’ve lost. I meant to move to SouthWEST Pacific... seems I entered southEAST Pacific on accident :/ good game, it’s Been fun
11 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Kenya]:Good game Oz. Sorry that you had to go this way...

Now we have to conduct damage control. Pacific Russia can no longer build so we have to take them out with what we have.

Australia sadly is our least defended area in the globe and we need to coordinate an attack. I'll stop moving in Antarctica so that FA doesn't have to lose a build. India, how are you feeling about this?
15 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Kenya]:Please let me know if you are still active, Ghana.
20 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Kenya]:It's very close to the phase change... Pacific Russia is doing nothing! There will be quite a few NMRs this time.
20 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:...Did everyone just trip over each other rushing to stop Pacific Russia?
20 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:It seems I had 2 builds. I've set them all on Wait/Postpone.
20 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Oz]:Thanks for trying to protect me I guess?
20 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:We just want you to know we love you.
21 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Oz]:That's game then, isn't it? Pacific Russia disbands their final fleet... good play!
21 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Kenya]:We might be done by August!
21 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Oz]:*votes pause*
21 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [India]:Holy shit how long has it been. Does anyone remember not playing this game. Like I remember my childhood and I'm pretty sure we were just starting this game.
21 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Europe]:LOL...
21 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I've only played one turn, and I already feel older and wiser.
21 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Kenya]:Same. Going into this game I'm pretty sure I had 86 coins. Now I have 1018 and I feel I have a semi-solid grasp of WebDiplomacy as a whole. Obviously, everything is still a work in progress though.
21 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Kenya]:Also, FA, no hard feelings meant about my push into Antarctica. I wasn't planning on taking any more SCs and it was honestly just something to do.
21 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Ah, no problems. I see myself only as the executor of the former state called FA. I'm just here to help close up shop.
21 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [USA]:It seems unreal that this is actually going to end, like I'm going to wake up and 1/2 of us are going to have withdrawn their vote. So it looks like I might have to stay awake for another 8 days so that doesn't happen.
22 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Ghana]:yeah. hopefully it shall actually conclude
30 Jul 18 UTC [Western-Canada]:I miss it now. Does anyone else miss it?
30 Jul 18 UTC [Oz]:Let's start another!
30 Jul 18 UTC [Europe]:Not 10 days/phase though
30 Jul 18 UTC [Oz]:You're right, let's crank it up to 20 days/phase
30 Jul 18 UTC [Frozen-Antarctica]:lol
30 Jul 18 UTC [Frozen-Antarctica]:Congrats to everyone that made it through the whole year of this game! I'm not one that can claim such; I barely made it through a whole turn with my sanity... I doff my hat to you crazy persons!
30 Jul 18 UTC [Kenya]:YES! We did it! Good game everyone!
31 Jul 18 UTC [Ghana]:yeah well done everyone
31 Jul 18 UTC [Libya]:Good game all! This looks like a good map to end things on - Canada and China invading Russia, the US losing their east but gaining some Aussie colonies, and the Libyan refugees in the UK.
