19 Jun 17 UTC | Spring, 1: Carthage! How fitting. |
19 Jun 17 UTC | Spring, 1: Greetings, all! |
19 Jun 17 UTC | Spring, 1: I highly recommend reading the special movement rules here: http://www.dipwiki.com/?title=Ancient_Mediterranean The Nile River Delta rules especially surprised me. (Alexandria, GoP, Sinai, and Thebes ALL touch each other, and criss-crosses are allowed. So a fleet could move from Thebes to GoP and an opposing army from Alexandria to Sinai, and both moves succeed.) |
19 Jun 17 UTC | Spring, 1: Hello from Rome, or should I say "ave?" Thanks for the the tip Zag; I also remember that those four seas in the center all touch in a similar manner. Odd board. |
19 Jun 17 UTC | Spring, 1: Good luck everyone. |
19 Jun 17 UTC | Spring, 1: Checking in. Glad we could get this underway. Good diplomat-ing! |
19 Jun 17 UTC | Spring, 1: I am curious why Carthage is "fitting." Did I miss something, MNO? |
20 Jun 17 UTC | Spring, 1: I already have preliminary ideas and dont want to miss any deadlines. I'm always open to conversation. |
22 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 1: By the way, I'm trying to write my end of game report as we go-- for those who are planning to write one I would suggest at least keeping some notes so you remember what was going through your head in the early game. |
22 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 1: end game notes? with the way i'm playing there wont be much to write down. :-P |
22 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 1: Me either! |
23 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 1: My early notes: Oh! I can't believe I made a deal with groza and now he's winning! :-) |
23 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 1: Yes, groza is winning. Everybody gang up on groza before he runs away with this game. ;) |
23 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 1: Hypothetically I could make it to 18 in just two more years. |
23 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 1: I don't think I can make it over to you in time to see that. |
23 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 1: I've already made one mistake and one enemy. I'm doing well this game! |
27 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 2: Is there a way to get the map to remove the arrows from the current map? It's nice to see what just happened, but it gets in the way with trying to see where things are now.... |
27 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 2: Oh wow. |
27 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 2: Click the far right button before saving any orders? Click the button to enlarge the map so that the arrows aren't as in the way? |
27 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 2: Thank you |
