14 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1999: What fortunate good timing. I just arrived home, saw we had started, and I have not missed anything yet. Good luck to all of you, lets get rolling. I'll be sending messages to most of you over the early evening.
20 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: I bet Cuba and Peru are in some Pan-American conspiracy and just conduct troops-echange program
21 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2001: Florida -- please investigate these nefarious dealings.
03 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2005: Well played BC. Hard to fight 3 others at once...
03 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2005: Cali got the best of me diplomatically early. Put me in a vulnerable position. Hats off to him. Heartland and Quebec followed with professional assassin precision. Well done, all!
03 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2005: That move into Idaho ruined things forever.
03 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2005: Too bad bc it was a rare honest mistake of mine. Boy was it expensive!
05 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 2005: Nice sportsmanship there, Quebec. Things look a little down and you quit?
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 2005: Well, first of all, it's my choice what I do with my units. For all you care I can hold from now on. Secondly, not much to be done here, I can slow you down at best. Moreover, I did NMR the first time, barely made it to see the stab. It's my winter brake, webdip is not my top priority, I have 15 ongoing games, figured there's no much need to waste time on this one. What you gonna do about that? : )
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 2005: I am going to wish you the best, and blow you a kiss.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 2005: Excuse the sarcasm, but "webdip is not my top priority, I have 15 ongoing games" sounds a bit contradictory...
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 2005: Does it? Do I enjoy playing it? Sure. And most of the time I don't have any problem with keeping up with up to 20 games at once. But I check up on webdip mostly as a distraction from work (which requires computer and internet access), which I don't do much of during the holidays. Then, when I finally get to a computer I have to catch up on lots of stuff, and then catch up on lots of games. In some cases, as much as it pains me and might be unfair to other players I save some time on certain games to focus on others. Do you see how it is not contradictory, or do I need to elaborate some more? Here's a sort of thought experiment: I am also playing like 20 games of Go, so by your logic it follows that Go is my top priority as well, but how can you have two top priorities?

Btw, 5 years of webdip, almost 200 games, 88 NMRs and 32 of them during this holiday season. Damn did this time I took a dive in reliability rating...
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 2005: Apologies for being brusque, but this squabble is not interesting to the rest of us (if I can speak for you, everybody).
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 2005: Quite right. Sorry.
23 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 2010: Whoops! Fell asleep at the wheel there for a minute.

How would all you fine gents feel about calling a draw in the next game year or so? I think my days of steady expansion may soon be over.
23 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 2010: I have voted draw.
07 Feb 17 UTC Well group, Peru has given his answer. no draw.
07 Feb 17 UTC I have little influence but perhaps Cali and Flor could give you some 'incentive'. Beware Peru, too much incentive and they might want to take you out...
I had thought that a sum-of-squares result would hasten an end of game. Wrong. greed says I can get just a few more points (and I include myself here!).
07 Feb 17 UTC I think I've spoken to you all separate but the general consensus does seem to be draw up. I've enjoyed mine and Cali's back and forth but it's a slow burn
07 Feb 17 UTC I've enjoyed the match as well. Thank you all for the fun ;) (still don't know how to make the nose Cali)
