29 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1: Ok grecian scum
30 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1: If I were the map makers I would have made only two regions touch byzantium and they would be on opposite sides of the black sea, I feel like that would make it feel more like actual history.
30 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1: How so?
30 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1: because byzantium was really hard to take, thats why it became the capital of rome
30 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1: No Byzantium became the capital because it was super rich, then they fortified it and made it hard to take.
30 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 2: But the game is acting like the sea of marmara doesn't exist when, in our current map scale, it would be a relatively large deal
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2: What do you mean the sea of marmara doesn't exist? I can see it on the map with my eyes, they simply made it a part of the Aegean sea. They also have special rules for moving through Byzantium, as in it has one unified coast on both the Black Sea and the Aegean Sea.
